"Coal we're going to be late-" "I don't even want to fucking go". The she sighed as she hesitantly walked up to the male sitting at the counter looking at his phone. "Please, it's Crows birthday and he invited us. You promised you would be nice to him on his birthday." "I didn't promise shit." "Well you just did so let's go." Coal looked at her confused. As he thought about what just happened briar was already dragging him out of the apartment with her keys in the free hand.
The drive was calm and quiet, really quiet honestly, only the sound of rain hitting the windshield was heard. "I'm sorry." She whispered while driving. "Why are you sorry? I shouldn't have been such a ass about it. You're right, it's his birthday and I should be nice to him
and go to his stupid party." "I might have been right but still, I shouldn't have dragged you out of the house to go somewhere you didn't even want to go. So i'm sorry." "You apologize way to fucking much". That was the end of the conversation. They were both very quiet until they got to their destination.
"It's busy...lovely" she said with a faked smile. "Yeah yeah let's go and say hi to the birthday boy." Coal said sarcastically as they walked in to the bar. "OH MY GOD TWINKLE TOES AND BIG BOY MADE IT-" Crow slurred as Chick ran up to him to help him over to the two so he wouldn't fall over. "Terribly sorry for him- he sort of started drinking before people showed up." "I dID nOt-" "At least he wasn't alone." Briar said with a reassuring smile. "Yeah who knows what shit he would have done if he was alone with his stupid self." Coal spoke in monotone. "i WoUlD hAve dOnE-" "Don't finish that." Chick sighed.
(20 minutes into the party)
"Twinkle toes drink with meeee-" "You and I both know I don't drink-" "Please~" Crow murmured or well slurred as he already reeked with alcohol and gave her the puppy eyes. "Crow- I really shouldn't." "Please." Briar sighed "One drink. Thats it." "OMG YASSS-" Crow exclaimed throwing his arms around the she as she tried to push him off of her.
After the 'One' drink became over ten drinks with Crow, Briar was not feeling that great. She never really drank any alcoholic beverages before and having more then one for her first time was not a good idea. "I'm going to go dance~, wanna come?" "Not really" briar murmured under her breath laying her head down on the bar. She didn't drink because of her social anxiety, she knows she shouldn't have. Her heart began to speed up as her head laid there, her vision was blurry, her words kind of slurred, almost forgetting Crow was there. "Alrighty twinkle toes~" Chick watched their whole conversation and walked over to briar looking at her with worry. "Are you ok? Do you need water? Bathroom? Coal?-" "Shh it's fine, i'm totally fine-" She muttered as she gagged through her sentence. This was not going to end well for her. "A bathroom would be nice though-" He walked her to the family restroom and looked away as she started to throw up. "Let me put your hair up and then i'll get Coal alright?" all she could do was nod and then go to throw up again.
