Luke's POV

I pull her hair back and gently touch her cheek. We were so close to each other as I look at her lips and back to her eyes again. I started to lean in and she did too. Our noses touch and I felt more butterflies in my stomach and started blushing like crazy. When our lips almost met, she pulled away when she heard the clock chimed. It read 11:55 and she looked at me.

Julie: I have to go.

Luke: Wait what?

Julie: I'm sorry but I really have to go. I had an amazing time with you Luke, but if I don't go now I'll be in big trouble.

Luke: What do you mean?

Julie: I can't tell you that. I have to go.

She started running out the and I find myself just standing there in shock. I thought we were having a great time. That's when I started running after her.

Luke: Wait!

She was fast but I was faster thanks to my work out. But once we got back to the party, it was hard to see her so I had to push through in order to see her.

Luke: Wait, come back!

I was about to reach her when I felt someone tugged on my arm. It was a woman in a black mask and a black dress.

Lillian: Hello young man. My name is Lillian Wilson and I would just love it if you recommend my daughters dance group to your-

Luke: I'm sorry but I got no time for this. I'm looking for someone.

I yanked my arm away from her and started running towards J. I was outside and I saw her running down the stairs. She dropped something and was running back towards it. Until I started running down the stairs.

Luke: Wait! Come back! I just want to talk!

She looked up at me and just started running again forgetting the object she left behind. She ran all the way to her limo and closed her side door as the driver starting driving. I stopped running to catch my breath. I can't believe I lost her. We connected and I just let her go. I was walking back when I looked at the ground and saw what she dropped. When she looked up at me, she did it so fast I couldn't see her face properly. I kneeled down and saw that she dropped her mask and a heart shaped locket. I picked it them up and I turned around where she left and I smiled so big. I walked inside and saw Alex and Reggie coming towards me. I realized that the party ended already and everyone was making their way out.

Alex: Luke, where have you've been? One minute we saw you dancing with a girl, then the next we saw you chasing her.

Reggie: What was that all about?

Luke: That girl you saw me dancing was J. And we were having an amazing time until she decided to run. And while I was running after her, I found these.

I showed them the mask and the necklace.

Reggie: Are you sure it's J?

Luke: Positive.

Alex: Well, looks like we need to find your missing Cinderella.

Luke: Yeah, and I'm not gonna stop until I find her.

Reggie: Dude, don't you have her phone number?

Luke: Oh right.

I pull out my phone and tried to call her.

The phone you have dialed has been disconnected.

Luke: That was weird.

Reggie: Her phone was disconnected.
