Narrator's POV

Breaking NEWS:
Luke Patterson just announced that he is looking for a mystery girl that he danced with at the Annual Music Ball.

The only thing he has from her are a necklace and a purple mask.
He is throwing a singing contest for any girl who can impress him and his band. The winner will get a recording contract and open for Sunset Curve. More information will be posted shortly.

Who will the winner be? Who is Luke Patterson's mystery girl? And will he find her?

Tuned in to find out.

When Julie read the post, she was by far awestruck at the opportunity she will have. This could be her chance to show the world what she can do. What she can be. No more chores, No more stepmother, No more stepsisters. Just her and music. She was still zoned out when she hears Flynn's voice on the phone. Guess she didn't hang up.

*phone call*

Flynn: Jules? Jules? JULIE!

Julie: Sorry, I got zoned out there. Is this for real?

Flynn: I wouldn't call you if this wasn't real. Julie, this is your chance to be notice.

Julie: I can't believe this is happening.

Flynn: *sadly* There is this one thing we should talk about.

Julie: What is it?

Flynn: Luke Patterson! He got eyes on someone else and it's not you. I knew you like him but he picked someone else and she's not you.

Julie: Flynn.

Flynn: I mean seriously, who does he think he is?

Julie: Flynn.

Flynn: He doesn't deserve you girl.

Julie: FLYNN!

Flynn: What?!

Julie: I'm the mystery girl.

Once Julie said that, all she heard was silence.

Julie: Flynn? You there? Hello?

Flynn: YOU'RE THE MYSTERY GIRL?!

Julie: Have you been drinking seven sodas again?

Flynn: Uhhh... This is about you, not about me. Why didn't you tell me?

Julie: I was going to call you last night but Lillian and the terrible twos came home and I went up to my room to try and find my mom's necklace and I fell asleep crying.

Flynn: Wow.

Julie: Yeah.

Flynn: Well, on the plus side, we know that Luke has it.

Julie: Yeah, and that he's looking for me. I gotta go, Lillian needs me to get her hair dye.

Flynn: Okay, good luck with the banshee.

Julie: Bye.

She hunged up the phone and made her way to Sally's beauty parlor to get the hair dye Lillian so desperately needs. Once she got it, she made her way home and saw Carrie and Kayla jumping on the couch screaming.
