To win or not to win: Part 2

Luke's POV

Today is a big day. Today is the day of the competition. Me and the guys are on our way to the location and I'm so nervous that I can't sit straight.

Alex: Dude, sit still.

Luke: Can't. Too excited.

Reggie: Me too, bud. This is the biggest event of the year. Social media is blowing up about the contest and everyone can't stop talking about it.

Alex: Yeah. I still can't believe that Reggie had the idea.

Reggie: Hey, I can come up with smart stuff. For example, I kept my hot dog in my drawer for a year just in case of a zombie apocalypse.

Me and Alex made a disgusting look towards Reggie. He's going to get food poisoning if he keeps stashing food around.

Alex: Dude, we do not need to hear that.

Reggie: I'm not ashamed of speaking my mind.

Luke: *pause* I hope J is there.

Alex: How do we even know if she will even be there?

Reggie: Alex is right. Even if she was one of the contestants, how are we going to know for sure?

Luke: I'll know. And besides, I heard her sing before and she's amazing. And while we were looking for people for the top 5, I heard her. She is definitely going to be there.

Reggie: Are you sure she's there?

Luke: Positive.

Alex: If you say so.

Luke: Hey we're here.

I looked outside and saw a lot people outside. Alot of our fans came and some of them have posters saying "I love Sunset Curve" or "Marry me, Luke (or Reggie)". I laughed at that, and so did Alex and Reggie. The driver parked in front of the entrance and me and the guys got out. Once we we're out, everyone was screaming at the top of their lungs.

Fan #1: LUKE, I LOVE YOU!!!

Fan #2: REGGIE, CALL ME!!!

Fan #3: I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

We made it to the entrance and I saw someone familiar walking up to me. She was wearing a pink wig with a pink outfit. And behind her was a group of girls with the same style but with different colors. And when she came closer, I immediately recognized her.

Carrie: Hi Luke, remember me? We met at the Annual Music Ball.

Luke: Oh how could I forget. Carrie, right?

Carrie: OMG you do remember me. That's amazing. I'm hoping you'll cheer me on one me and my group win.

Luke: I'll be cheering for everyone.

Carrie: Oh okay. But in case that your mystery girl isn't here, maybe we can go out sometime.

Luke: Umm...

Alex: He actually needs to help us discuss some new tour dates this summer. By the way, big fan by the way.

Carrie: Thanks but no one really asked you.

Me and the boys stayed silent. We never met someone so rude before. And she shouldn't talk that way to Alex.

Carrie: Anyway, me and the girls are about to practice for the contest. We are definitely gonna win first place. And think about that date Luke. See ya!

She walked away with her squad in another direction. I scoff and turns towards Alex.

Alex: I take back everything I said about them.
