Julie's POV

*flashback*

Lillian: So, do we have a deal?

I thought long and hard about this. If I don't take the deal, Lillian will do whatever it takes to ruin Luke's reputation. I just can't put me over him and he worked so hard to be where is he right now. Maybe this is a sign that we can't be together. Either way, I have to accept the deal.

Julie: I'll do it. Just leave Luke out of this.

Lillian: Smart girl. Now we got some work to do. Starting we a new song. But knowing you, you must have a song planned out. I'll be in my room if you need me.

She left and I was all alone. Tears were sliding down my face and I just ran out to the studio sobbing. I went over to the couch and lay down still sobbing.

Julie: I'm so sorry, Luke.

*flashback over*

*A week later*

Tomorrow's the competition and I'm dreading it. Lillian has been nonstop pressuring me with the song and never let me take singing breaks. We have to do everything secret because of Carrie and Kayla, so we've been practicing in the studio. This whole week has been exhausting and surprisingly I convinced Lillian to let me take a break. I called Flynn, telling her to meet me at Willie's house. She agreed and I was on my way to Willie's house. Once I was there, I knocked on his front door and he opened it.

Willie: Jules?

Julie: Hey Willie.

Willie: What's wrong?

Julie: *crying* Everything.

Willie: Let's get you inside.

I nod and he led me into his room. We talked for a bit until Flynn came in and sat next to me on Willie's bed.

Flynn: What's going on, Jules?

Willie: You haven't texted us in all week.

Julie: I know, I'm sorry. It's just *sighs* I've been practicing.

Flynn: Ooookay? That's normal, but still doesn't explain-

Julie: I've been practicing with Lillian.

I could tell by the silence that they were speechless. I couldn't bring myself to look at them because of this never ending shame.

Willie: But why?

Julie: Because she knows.

Willie: Knows what?

Julie: *crying and yelling* SHE KNOWS THAT I'M LUKE'S MYSTERY GIRL! AND IF I DON'T DO WHAT SHE SAYS SHE'LL RUIN LUKE'S REPUTATION!

Flynn: Jules, calm down.

I was sobbing and Flynn and Willie pulled me into a hug. I missed this. I started to calm down and wipe away my tears.

Willie: You good?

Julie: Yeah, sorry that I yelled at you.

Willie: It's okay. But right now, you need to tell us everything.

I took a deep breath and told them everything that happened this week. And once when I was finished, they both looked at me.

Willie: Wow.
