Brothers, I Think I Have A Crush (Kongkwan-Fon)

I - My Brothers Now Know

Fon was walking through the halls of the school along with her older fraternal twin brothers; Sky and Nuea who are known as some of the "Jocks" in school, with them being captains in both basketball and football respectively and they also happen to be her classmates as well since their parents thought it would be better to have them all start school together so they can keep an eye on each other especially towards their only girl sibling who is just almost year and a half younger than them.

As they pass through a sea of students, some were minding their own business but most of them were busy staring at the power trio and made a path for them to pass knowing not to cross them and show respect while they were heading to their lockers getting their 3rd subject book and notebook.

Being the only girl in the family not to mention the youngest, the twins are way protective towards her so no one else can do any harm towards Fon not to mention let any guy come near her even though Fon told her brothers that she is not interested in boys but she also hasn't told them who she has been admiring for a while now so the boys just chose to respect it and not pressure her into telling but they were relieved that she wasn't interested in guys and for them not having fearing of having their princess get accidentally knocked up.

As Fon opened her locker, there was an outpour of letters from different students who would like to show their admiration towards the half Thai- half British girl. They are usually anonymous knowing that the twins would rip off the heads of the guys who have openly shown interest to their sibling. Even the female admirers are intimidated by both Sky and Neua not knowing if they will threaten them too or not since they are usually seen with flat affect, disinterested and sometimes scowls on their faces every time they walk through school and only show any friendly emotion towards Fon.

Sky: "Should we bring in the trashbag for you, Princess?" he asked sternly.

He knows his sister usually doesn't entertain any love letters coming from other students but unlike them, she too nice and respectful to throw them away in school. She just glances at them and keeps them until the end of the day then tosses them away near her house to not look rude.

Fon just laughed at Sky's question as Neua helped her pick up the scattered letters to return it to her locker while she took out her Chemistry textbook and manual.

Sky and Neua were busy talking about the school's basketball game the night before but Fon wasn't listening since someone caught her eye just 2 lockers away from hers.

It was their class top student also known by many; "The Class Nerd: Kongkwan" she was busy pulling numerous books out of her locker and it looked heavy. She turned around facing Fon's direction but didn't noticed the half-british girl staring at her since she was busy looking for something through the thick pages on her textbooks when suddenly she was elbow checked by a cheerleader Fon recognized that was in the same grade as them which caused everything that Kongkwan was holding to fall to the ground.

The cheerleader looked back at the nerd's state who was now scrambling to get all her stuff and started laughing along with her other co-cheerleaders who were about 5 in total as they continued their way through the halls.

Fon heard snickers behind her and saw that it was her brothers so she started to glare at them and elbowed Sky to cut it out since he was the closest which made the boy raise his eyebrows by surprise.

Fon then looked back and saw that the cheerleader was far off now so she slowly approached Kongkwan and started to help her gather her stuff.

Kongkwan was shocked when someone appeared eye level from her, it usually doesn't happen since she knows that no one exactly helps the "nerds" around here with her being one, but she didn't seem to pay attention to who it was since she was still looking for something which didn't come unnoticed by Fon.

Fon: "Uhhhh.. C-can I help you look for something?"

Kongkwan: "My paper in Plato. I can't find it. I- I have to submit it in 5 mins or I will have a late mark which means minus points and that can't be good for my midterm grade. I-I can't have that." she started yammering away like she's rapping a verse in a song but still not looking at Fon's direction.

The younger student understood everything the girl said and started staring at the pile of books and notes on the floor until she saw a paper sticking out of Kongkwan's Chemistry book so she pulled on it slowly and saw the word "PLATO" written on top and showed it immediately to Kongkwan.

Kongkwan: "Oh my gosh! Thank you! I-I have to go before Professor Tam goes for lunch." She then realized who helped her and it was her classmates Fon, she then looked behind the half-british girl and saw her 2 brothers who had their arms crossed and eyebrows raised at her with judgey looks which made Kongkwan hurriedly trying to collect all her materials from the ground as fast as she can.

Fon tried her best to help her as best as she can but it seemed like Kongkwan was reluctant to accept her help so it confused her a bit until Kongkwan put all her stuff inside the locker room and gave Fon a quick bow and "thank you" before speeding off towards the opposite direction heading towards probably Mr. Tam's room.

Fon was left standing still looking at the nerd's retreating figure trying so hard not to stare but was knocked off her thoughts when she heard Sky scuffed beside her.

Sky: "Pfff... Such a nerd, so scared to get minus points for a late paper? *snickers* no wonder she gets bullied."

Fon then elbowed him once again in the chest a little harder than earlier which made the younger twin cough a bit by the impact.

Sky: *coughing* "Ok, that was twice in a row. Why?"

Fon: "Stop calling her a nerd!"

Sky: "Why? Is she not a nerd? What to do want me to call her? Poindexter?"

Fon: "Just stop calling her names will you?"

Sky: "Why? You like her don't you?" she pointed to her cheeks trying to irritate her sibling.

Fon: "So what if I do?" she answered a little bit harshly, good thing there was only a handful of students there who didn't seem to hear about the sibling's conversation.

Neua: "W-wait.. You like the n-... I mean, Kongkwan?" he whispered as soon as he got between his younger siblings. Both boys stunned by their sister's confession.

Fon didn't know what else to say, she tried to open her mouth but no words were coming out so she just closed her locker and walked away from her brothers as fast as she can.

Sky and Neua looked at each other trying to absorb everything their sister just said a few seconds ago before following her.

Neua: "Fon wait! We have the same class!"

Hello! This was suppose to be a oneshot story but it got longer than I expected so I decided to make it a mini-story instead. Hope y'all will like it. :)

Been on a writer's slump because I am having some personal issues right now which makes me depressed and lose sleep for a few days now but I feel like writing helps me cope and Freenbecky has been one of my very few happy pills the past few weeks so I decide to write stories inspired by them and their characters.
