VII - Everyone Needed Answers

Fon woke up an hour later looking around and perplexed before she lifted her right hand and remembered that it was bandaged up.

She looked around the clinic was quiet and saw the nurse writing some paperwork and she saw someone coming out of the comfort room and it was Neua.

Nuea: "Hey sis, how are you feeling?" automatically pulling up a chair and sat beside her patting her head.

Fon: "A little sleepy and sore.." showing her hand. "But I think I'm alright." trying to sit up.

Nuea: "Hey, you can rest up until school ends. Professor Pat said we are excused. Sky is going to our last subject teacher to give the excuse letter." encouraging her to lay down.

Fon: *scoffs* "You just don't want to attend Trigonometry because of the quiz." she raised her eyebrow playfully at her brother.

Nuea: "Wait, there's a quiz? Ok you're definitely sleeping here until last period." getting the thin blanket from the edge of the bed and draping it on Fon's body up until her neck and tucked her in like she was a toddler making sure she doesn't roll off the bed.

Fon: "Ok.. Ok.. Don't wrap me up like a burrito." she chuckled before Sky entered the room with a smile on his face.

Sky: "Hey you're awake." she said in a loud voice which earned a shush from the nurse making the athlete apologize immediately before sitting on the opposite side of the bed facing his twin and beside his sister.

Fon: "And you're smile is a little too big. I guess Professor Lee accepted our excuse letter?" raising her eyebrow yet again.

Sky: "Yup, no classes for the whole day." smiling widely. "And ofcourse, I am happy that you are awake and you looking better than earlier." giving Fon a small pat on the head showing affection which was received by a playful eyeroll from the female sibling.

Neua: "Did you know there will be a quiz in Math?"

Sky: "I didn't even remember we had Math class today." he laughed and high fived his brother.

Fon: "I can't believe we are from the same parents." shaking her head.

Sky: "Hey, you love us." ruffling her hair which she doesn't appreciate but couldn't do anything about it since she's trapped by the blanket.

Neua: "And you are stuck with us for life so you have no choice." also ruffling her hair making it messier.

Fon: "Enough with the hair ruffling will you? Or I'm telling mom you both skipped classes today."

The twins stopped immediately eyeing her suspiciously.

Sky: "You wouldn't."

Fon: "Stop messing my hair and untuck me from this blanket then I will consider it." giving her best "try me" look.

Neua untucked her sister and she combed her hair with her left hand trying to make it flat again.

Neua: "By the way, I called dad and told him what happened but I told him you are fine and just resting now so he doesn't have to come over with mom."

Fon nodded and scanned around the room and towards the door like she was looking for something or someone.

Fon: "Was Kongkwan here?"

The twins looked at each other which made Fon a little suspicious.

Sky: "S-she was."

Fon: "Where is she now?"

Neua: "Probably back at class." 

Fon: "Ohhhh.." she looked disappointed. She didn't expect her to stay for her sake because who was she for her to be a priority to Kongkwan knowing that the girl loves school and would never miss a class for anyone so to her, Fon was no different.
