Brothers, I Think I Have A Crush (Kongkwan-Fon)

XXIII- Smiles and Sorrows

The Next Day:

It was 30 minutes before school starts but Fon was wearing a huge smile on her face and had been acting a little too giddy since this morning for the twins' tastes.

Sky: "You've been sporting that smile since last night. Stop it. You are starting to freak me out."

Fon: "Is it a crime to smile?" Glaring at her brother.

Sky: "It's too early in the morning. You look like the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland." making her sister panic and look at herself in the mirror that was attached to her locker.

Fon: "I DO NOT! But you look like one of the twins in the movie."

Sky: "Huh? Twins?"

Fon: "Dwiddledee or Dwiddledumb. Take your pick." She bit back causing Nuea to pull back an "offended Sky" away from their younger sister.

Nuea: "Come on Sky, stop bursting Fon's bubble ayt?! Look at the smile our sister has on." he teased while pinching her cheek but lets go immediately, avoiding Fon's swatting hand. "I wonder how big her smile might be if she actually kissed her crush last night." he whispered so only the three of them can hear while smirking, causing Fon to glare at her brother.

Fon: "WE DIDN'T ALMOST KISS! ALRIGHT?!" she grinded her teeth as to not say her sentence out loud, not wanting to draw any attention from other students around them who were passing by the busy halls.

Sky: "Riiiight." he answered sarcastically.

Fon: "It's true! I wasn't planning to kiss her! And I think she wasn't planning to either. I dunno what you guys saw to even think that." she answered defensively.

Nuea: "Well, you both were very close to one another. It looked different in our end." he chuckled.

Fon: "You're just saying that just to tease me." not believing her brothers' words before closing the door of her locker. She then saw the girl who had been clouding her mind since last night, who was just a few lockers away from her and her siblings, also getting her stuff for her first few subjects.

Once they made eye contact, Fon couldn't help but smile widely at the tall girl with glasses who gave her a small, shy smile in return making the younger girl's heart flutter a bit while the twins were looking at their small exchange, smirking the whole time; seeing as their youngest sibling is beginning to fall harder for their classmate.

Before the boys planned to push Fon towards Kongkwan, the bell suddenly rang; causing every student to rush to their respective classrooms so they wouldn't be late; that includes Kongkwan who obviously doesn't want a tardy record on her report card, leaving Fon's sight in a flash.

Sky: "Don't worry RomeA, you'll get to see your Juliet this afternoon in Chemistry class." she whispered at his sister's ear before chuckling which earned a punch in the stomach by Fon, making him wince in pain. 

Nuea: "Come on you two." rolling his eyes while pushing his brother further away from their sister knowing they will argue again. "And you know that "Romeo and Juliet" is a bad description for a "love story" right?"

Sky: "Why? Isn't that one of the greatest love stories ever?"

Fon: "They both died in the end." she deadpanned.

Sky: "THEY DID?!" he exclaimed.

Nuea: *sighs* "You told me you read the book!"

Sky: "Just the half.. Then I got bored."
