CHAPTER 18

"Wake up, sleepy head."

"Wake up sleepy head."

Umingos ako at hinay-hinay na binuksan ang mahapdi kong mga mata. The figure was blurred until it cleared and Rosh's face is in front of me.

"Rosh?" Bumangon ako at kinusot-kusot ang mata ko.

"Well, I'm here, I brought some food." He chuckled. "I didn't know you've got someone sleeping over here at your brother's unit."

"We knew them." Antok na tinignan ko ito. "You haven't sleep yet?"

"If you'll let me sleep beside you, I might." Then he crawled towards me and lied down beside me.

"Your insomnia's acting up?" Kunot-noong tinignan ko ito.

"Yeah." He snuggled at my hips. "Well, you're my sleeping pill, Clara. I can't sleep when you're not around."

I chuckled at him. "You just need sleeping incense."

"Partly. I can't find a good quality incense you know."

Napailing ako sakanya at hinayaan siya. He wrapped his arm around my waist and I grabbed my phone to check my inbox.

Salih sent me a private message. I opened it and read her message.

From : Salih

Leader, since it's your day off, should I deliver your card to your brother's unit?

I replied 'yes, thank you.' and sent it.

She replied me a heart emoticon and I scrolled at my inbox again. Nothing was new so I turned off my phone and put it beside the lamp.

Rosh was snoring softly, so I decided to lie down again and sleep more.

As I woke up for the second time. I can feel something heavy on my stomach. It was Rosh's arms and he's still sleeping. Napansin kong medyo katigasan ang unan ko at napatingin ako ng braso niya pala ito.

"You're awake." His eyes opened and his voice was a little bit raspy.

"Yeah, what time is it?" I check the wall clock. It's 10 am now. Bumangon na ako at sinuot ang fluffy slippers ko.

"I woke you up hm... around 3 am and now it's 10 am. I guess 7 hours sleep isn't bad at all." Bumangon na na rin ito at tumayo.

Sabay kaming bumaba at tinungo ang kusina. Nasa hagdanan palang kami ay kita ko na ang tingin na pinupukol nila Yael at Faughn sa akin.

"Ate Addie!" Lumapit si Yael sa akin. "Who are you?"

Yael's eyes were like daggers. Rosh chuckled at him. "You've got two little cubs here, Clara."

"Clara?" Faughn raised his brow.

I sighed. "Well, this is Roshan, my-"

"I'm her boyfriend, kids." He grabbed my waist and looked at them with a smug on his smile.

"What?" Tumingin si Yael sa akin, his eyes wants to confirm the answer from me.

"No, he's not." I sighed. "Rosh, quit teasing them."

He chuckled heartily and sighed. "Roshan Enrique Valverde, nice to meet you two."

"The La Verde's President." Faughn extended his hand. "To meet you here unexpectedly, I guess I'm lucky."

"You are quiet updated, I see." Rosh accepted his hand. "You're Yael Griego Srigarda, Am I right? One of the new graduates and my construction industry's new architects."
