CHAPTER 26

"Atty. Srigarda, may bisita ka po from Russia."

I looked at my secretary and I nodded at him. "Let him in."

Napasandal ako sa upuan at huminga ng maluwag. I was up for days at wala akong pahinga simula no'ng magising ako. It's almost 2 weeks since Addison was abducted and we're still searching for her.

I even used our men to search her but gained nothing. I'm close to losing my sanity little by little and only her can make me sane.

"Draco." Tumingin ako sa taong pumasok.

My eyes looked at him sharply. "What are you doing here?"

"Chill, Draco. I came here for business." He chuckled and he sat on the single couch and crossed his legs.

It's Yaroslav Vasilyev, a Russian businessman and he's part of the Russia's strongest organization. Inayos ko ang pagkakaupo ko at seryosong tumingin sakanya.

"What's your business, Vasilyev?"

"Come on, don't be so cold." Biro nito at sinenyasan ang sekretarya nito.

His secretary walked towards me and handed me a folder. Tinignan ko ang cover at bumalik ang tingin kong mapanuri sakanya.

"What's this?"

"Read it." Senyas pa nito.

I opened the folder and read the content. My jaw tightened as I saw the word 'marriage' and Addison was involved in it.

"Say... I can just her to you that easily you know. My father will kill me if he'll know that I give that precious candidate to be my wife to a Srigarda." Aniya at nakangising tumingin sa akin.

"What are you talking about?" I gritted my teeth while he was eyeing at me like he was having fun.

Sinong matinong tao ang matutuwa sa balitang ito? Hearing the news of the woman you love, getting married to a russian boss? It makes my blood boil.

"Man... Tartarus Romanov made a deal with my Dad. It was really tempting since that beauty is not any ordinary woman. She's a Romanov."

"I don't give a damn about her being a Romanov, Vasilyev." Inis kong saad. "Give her to me."

"She's not a thing that can be easily given to you, Attorney." He whistled. "I told you right? I'm here for business."

"What do you want?" Madilim ang tingin na ipinukol ko sakanya.

"That's what I'm talking about!" He laughed. "Give me your share on Griseo's company. That's all."

"Henry, ready my private plane." Saad ko sa secretary ko at tumango naman ito.

"Damn, that was fast." He said and I looked at him with irritation.

"Consider yourself lucky."

I left the office and walked as fast as I can. Hindi ko pinansin ang mga matang nakatingin sa akin at mga bulong na naririnig sa paligid ko.

Pagkarating ko sa groundfloor ay nakahanda na ang sasakyan at pumasok na ako kaagad.

"Let's go. Drive as fast as you can." Tumango kaagad ang driver at mabilis na nagmaneho palabas sa parking lot ng company.

I couldn't think of anything but to save her from that cold place as I know that the season in Russia is now winter. Napatingin ako sa phone ko nang makita ang pangalan ni Adamson sa screen ko.

I answered the call and looked outside the window. "Adamson."

"My sister called me earlier. I'm sorry she said I shouldn't tell anyone but I'm really worried about her, Draco." His voice was shaking that made me tightened my gripped on my phone.
