"Just a bit worn out, I'm fine. How could other humans not like the one nice human? That's ridiculous," Xena growls faintly at the thought. Humans need to stop being assholes. She opens one eye, looking at the battered human, "So they really are as foolish as they seem."

"I... I don't know." Mylis didn't really like talking about all of that, but she hid it entirely that she is uncomfortable. Mylis learned how to do that due to this type of stuff, "I guess they are foolish, huh.." She laughs slightly, trying not to get her own mood down, "I suppose I'm not up to people's standards.."

Mylis now stays silent. She hates talking about her personal business; it's the reason she's the way she is.

Xena sneers at the ridiculous notion of other people not liking Mylis, closing her eyes again. Xena then knew she would have to take more, but she could tell Mylis was still weakened from the last time. "Well, you're the best human I've met. Seriously." She stands up, with some slight difficulty, and approaches Mylis again, who looks up at her. She moves to stand next to the table, feeling surprisingly light-headed. A soft growl of frustration leaves her, the sound low.

"I don't want to take blood again... but I think I'm going to have to. I've used magic more today than I normally do on an average day." She sighs, and looks into Mylis's eyes, watching her as she says her next words, "I don't love that I have to do this, you know. It just is what it is. Yet you humans are so.. enticing. You do realize humans smell good to us, right? You have a pleasant yet faint scent, you have soft skin.. it just makes you so enthralling to us." She explains, pausing and glancing away, suddenly aware of how that.. sounds. "And... I know you notice it. It's not the enjoyment of your pain that you're seeing."

Mylis smiles at her previous remark, but that turns into a neutral face as Xena says she needs more blood. Mylis sighs. She already said she'd let her, so she couldn't exactly go back on her word. She was better now though, so she wasn't that weakened at this point in time.

"I'm... not as weak as I was... so yeah I can have blood taken. And wow, that's an... interesting... explanation." She laughs at her own remark, "Don't worry! I don't think of what you said in a bad way." Mylis then moves her hair away, so Xena could have access.

Xena watches Mylis, mildly surprised. After a moment she draws closer, voice low, only hinting at her own confusion so Mylis doesn't shy away, "You're so different from all the others..." Xena grips the table on either side of Mylis' shoulders, leaning close. Mylis softly flinches, watching her intently. Xena closes her eyes, realizing how difficult it is to deny when the girl actually offers. It was nearly irresistible. Everything told her to take the opportunity before the girl changed her mind. Mylis stays still, knowing what's about to come. Xena's voice is a very low, yet genuine murmur, "...Thank you."

"You're welcome." The girl murmurs back, and then turns her head to the side, again to make it easier for Xena. Her heartbeat begins to race, knowing her own predicament. The closeness of the two doesn't help. Mylis is not used to being this close to people in a not-negative way. A light tint of red is evident on the girl's slightly tanned face. She also begins to breathe a little fast but keeps silent now. Mylis then closes her eyes, bracing herself...

...Xena hovers over her, hesitating a bit more — then bites down on Mylis' neck enthusiastically. Her fangs go deep into the girl's neck. Mylis winces, and reaches out and up with her right arm to grip Xena.
Xena realizes it's probably rougher than she intended, and so she slips a simple 'Sorry.' into  Mylis' mind. Mylis is shaking a bit but doesn't say anything, only keeping her eyes closed.

A low appreciative rumble vibrates in Xena's throat, as she starts to take blood slowly — and makes sure to not go too fast. Xena's grip on the table tightens, and Mylis can hear the material almost creak from pressure. Mylis' scent is nearly intoxicating at this point, which compliments the warmth of the girl's skin. Just sensing how alive she is makes this more enjoyable for Xena, who instinctively bites down more. Mylis flinches. Xena isn't willing to stop quite yet.
