Rain, great.

I never really had anything against the rain, I loved watching the water pour down and I loved the smell after a rain storm. But right now it came at a very inconvenient moment. I was in the middle of a game, and it was an outdoor arena. By the end I was soaking wet and very cold, I wanted to get back to the beach as soon as possible. I get in the back of my groups car shivering, the whole ride back is very uncomfortable due to my wet clothes. 

We finally make it back and I'm running inside and straight to my room. Usually I'd go look for my boyfriend, Samura Takatora, also known around here as Last boss. But at this moment I was exhausted and just wanted to get out of these clothes, they were sticking to my body and made even walking to my room annoying. I open the door to my room and walk in closing it behind me, I make a bee-line to the bathroom and take off all the wet clothes. I was soaked to my swimwear underneath so I just decided to take that off as well and put on a new dry one. 

I'm finally all dry again and wearing fresh dry clothes, I walk out the bathroom and let myself fall on my bed. Not even a minute later the door to my room slams open and in walks a very worried Samura. I raise my head a little to look at him, he walks over to me and stands in front of me

''Do you know how worried I was?'' he asks talking rather loud for his doing, I pull myself up so that I'm in a sitting position

''I know I'm sorry, I'm just really exhausted'' I apalogize, I didn't really think about the fact how scary it must be for him to see my group walk in the annex without me. He sighs and sits down next to me

''Just don't scare me like that again'' he says in his usual quiet soft voice, I lean my head on his shoulder closing my eyes

''I promise'' I say and he wraps an arm around me pulling me closer, but then

''Achoo!'' A sneeze escapes my mouth, and then another one. Shit

''You're sick'' Samura says

''Just a little cold, nothing serious'' I say back sniffing my nose, but he isn't having it. He turns to me and starts getting me to lay down

''Hey, I'm fine. This is not necessary'' I protest but he insists I lay down. I huff and give in, he pulls the covers over me

''Stay'' He says and walks out of the room. Deciding it's best to do what he says and turn to my side getting more comfortable under the covers. I wait there silently for Samura to return, I can still softly hear the rain tap against the large windows in the room. 

A few minutes later Samura comes back into the room, he's carrying a small bottle and a spoon. Hell no. He sits down on the bed and opens the bottle

''I'm not taking that'' I say but he starts pouring the liquid onto the spoon ignoring my comment

''Ann says this will help you'' he says and moves the spoon towards my mouth, I look at the dark fluid on the spoon and make a face of disgust. I turn my head away avoiding his intense gaze

''Y/n.'' I hear him say sternly, gulp and look at him. His stare is piercing into my soul, but there is also a worried and caring feeling to it. I sigh and give in, I open my mouth and he brings the spoon forward. I scrunch my face as the bitter taste hits my tongue, I quickly swallow the medicine

''Good girl'' He says, I open my eyes and look at him as he puts the cap back on the bottle and places it on my nightstand along with the spoon. He gets up and puts his large sword against the wall

''You need to rest now'' He says looking at me, I look to the side at the open spot in the bed

''Stay with me?'' I ask. He gives me one of his rare small smiles and walks over to the side of the bed, he takes of his shoes and hoodie. I hold the covers up for him and he climbs in the bed, I move as closely as possible to him as soon as he's settled in. He wraps his arms around me cuddling me

''Sleep now, you'll feel better soon'' He says and I close my eyes. I drift off to a deep slumber quickly, I always slept the best in his arms.

The next morning I already feel a lot better, I slowly open my eyes as the sun hits my face. I look up and see my boyfriends loving gaze, I smile and lean up giving him a small kiss

''How are you feeling?'' He asks

''I feel great, thank you for everything'' I say leaning my head against his chest, he pulls me closer to him

''I told you I'd protect you didn't I? That includes keeping you healthy'' He says softly. I smile brighter, I truly got lucky with someone like Samura. He might not be your typical boyfriend and he may be a little weird sometimes, but to me he was absolutely perfect. And he was all mine, and I was his. 

We stayed in bed all morning, I slept some more to fully recover from my cold. And he held me close the entire time, as if i'd slip away if he let go of me. It may not always look like it, but he cared deeply about me. He'd walk through hell and back if it meant I would be safe and sound, and I'd do the same for him.
