Scene 1.

[22/03/23] date of writing.

Today we walk out hands in hands along side each other with unbearing smiles surrounding us of the fact that Samar, Toshu, Pakhi are robbed off their mother to someone else but they are happy.

Through the sadness and challenges of finally getting the whole family to realising our love for each other.

My love for her and hers for me.

We are happily and contentedly filled of the fact that we are finally lovers in paper.

Society took a wild convincing to finally realise love is no age, no race, no wealth.

Love is hope.

And I'm walking mine out of misery to wholeness.

I will love Anupama so much she does not ever find herself looking back and wondering if she made the perfect decision or not.

I will treat her like a real man, surpass her previous cell of a marriage.

She looks dazzling hot in her lehanga, red and white.

My favourite color drappes her full body, her smile washes away all my doubts and worries. She sniffs holding back a lot before waving out to her family who stands by the door blowing kisses and wiping tears.

I know it hurts Anu, as it should.

You've spent almost your entire life in this house and neighborhood, you are sure to feel amiss of them.

You have loved these people even the undeserving and to finally be apart from them makes you wonder if they are going to be able to live without you.

From packing their lunchboxes for the office to setting your mother and father in laws medication before and after eating to preparing them food throughout the day.

Now they are left to tend to themselves, a habit you should have let them get used to, or rather they should have let themselves have that opportunity.

I'm glad you are leaving but I fear for the innocent.

She looks back at me holding out a car door for her to swift in so I can finally get some alone time with her but she holds my arm looking for assurance that everything is gonna be okay, with us, with the family and everyone is happy.

I nod at her.

"We need to leave". She nods back and gets inside.
