3rd Person

Dressed in red, Tripti was looking absolutely gorgeous but deep within she was disgusted with herself and the situation. She was lying to her mother and taking a huge step without her permission. She was guilty of the things she wasn't even responsible for.

Dressed in a black sherwani, Rudra was enchanted by the beauty walking hand in hand with him. He never knew he would marry someone let alone, force someone into a marriage.

The priest had asked him to match their kundali before proceeding with the marriage, Rudra was annoyed by the foolish demand but he agreed nonetheless.

After he got to know that out of 36, they had to get more than 18 gunas, he was nervous and kind of agitated at the stupid ritual. While the priest was busy typing the date and time of him and her, Rudra kept still and waited impatiently.

The results were shocking because they had got 36/36 gun matching.

There was no one present in the huge hall, only the priest who had to perform rituals.

For Tripti the whole event was a punishment for Rudra it was the happiest incident of his life. He had been through a lot, there was a time when he had given hopes of even getting truly happy one day.

But today he was happy. If he knew what happiness was like, this was it. Contentment.

Tripti and Rudra sat still as the priest sung the shlokas, Tripti had teary eyes, staring at the holy fire weren't helping her either. Rudra was feeling restless  because he wanted nothing more to do with the wedding than to make her completely his.

It was time for Kanyadan, and this made Tripti emotional. She hadn't experienced a fatherly love in her childhood. Her mother had suffered so much because of that man.

Kanyadan was completed by the priest and they proceeded to the phera. Tripti was unwilling to stand but then Rudra warned, "Do you want me to carry you in my arms around this holy fire?"

And she stood up immediately.
