Jaao le jaao neend meri...

Uff na karenge hum

Jo le jaaoge khwab mere...
Toh kaise jiyenge hum

Jeena humko aata hi nahi
Teri saanson ke siva..
Marna bhi ab na mumkin hai

Teri baahon ke siva...

Tripti

A month had passed since I joined his company as his personal assistant. A month since I got to know about the truth, half  truth.

Rudra had been behaving weird. Whenever we were together, he used to find ways to touch be and get closer to me. Whenever I used to object he used to play the husband card.

Though he was extremally considerate about my every needs, he needed to stop. I wasn't a toddler who would need constant pampering or say... pestering.

It was Saturday and I was happy that I would get the next day free, all to myself.

But guess what? My happiness was short lived.

"Ms. Tripti you have to accompany me on a business event tomorrow... as my date", he asked, no, told me.

"And what makes you so sure that I'll agree to be your date, Mr. Rudra?"

"My my, A month and still so clueless about your husband slash boss?"

"A month and still didn't gave up on me Mr. Rudra?"

"I'll..." and he came closer, in the past month I've grown familiar with his scent, his touch, his eyes and his voice. But they still have this, impact on me...no other voice has.

"...Never give up on you", he stated seriously without blinking an eye. Was it supposed to make me feel better? He was obsessed.

"I'll send you the dress, be ready by seven, I'll pick you up", and it was over. Just like that. Why is he so... overbearing?

I had told ma and Navya about my plans, Ma was happy that I was finally going out and enjoying my life and Navya was busy giving me those knowing looks.

He said he would send a dress, but I got two delivered along with a note,

Wear anyone of them, you look hot in red and black

The dresses he sent were beautiful, but they were deep neck. I had been deliberately wearing high neck, turtleneck, shirts with collar to hide the mangalsutra from my mother and everyone else. How am I supposed to wear this?
