"Navya! Go mom is calling you!", I tell her and she leaves reluctantly. Something was off with this girl. She wasn't with Sia, this was unusual. On the top of it, why was she talking to a man like... Dhruv? He would scare any normal girl. Not to be rude but it was my first reaction.

"Dhruv, I request you to stay away from my sister. I don't want you to be seen with her ever again.", I assert in a firm tone. He nods and whispers a yes and I leave.

I had to ask Navya to do the same as well. 

When I got back to my seat Rudra asked me what the matter was, I didn't respond. He was clearly pissed off by my behaviour but I felt nice. He couldn't do anything in front of cameras and people. Right?

"Di? Ma wasn't calling me! Why did you lie!", Navya asked me. I took the opportunity to ask her, "What were you doing with him?"

"Who", she asked. "Don't play dumb, what were you doing with Dhruv"

"You know him?", She was shocked.

"Yes, but now, give me the answer"

"We were just talking. Is it bad to talk now?!"

"You weren't just talking. And he is not a guy you should make friends with. Take it as an order, you won't be seen with him, ever again."

" Di! Stop being so... Bossy. There's no harm-"

" You'll do as I say, Navya"

" No"

" What? What did you just say?! "

" I said no. I won't obey you! It's my life! I'm not a kid di! You have to stop being overbearing!"

" I.. I want the best for you, and he, is not a good person!"

" Why? What did he do to you!"

" Nothing, but he's not good"

" Just because he has a scar doesn't mean you'll think low of him!"

" It's not about his scar! He is not a good man. He does bad things for living. Now don't argue, you should keep your distance from him. That's it. "

" Di I-"

" No! Just listen for once!", We were interrupted by a clearing of throat. Rudra looked down at us with a frown. And asked, " Is everything alright?"

"Yes jiju just some misunderstanding. You both enjoy the performance. It's my turn next, bye!!", She said and ran away towards the stage.

"I know it's about her and Dhruv", he whispered to me. I raised an eyebrow.

"I saw them together too.", He adds. I felt as if he had more to say than that but before I could ask the host caught my attention.

"Such an exquisite performance by Miss. Gomez, time for the most awaited performance of the eve, let's welcome the bride's sister, Navya on the stage!", And the lights are out.

The stage lights up and I see her standing with her back facing the crowd.

When she was done. She was greeted with huge applauds from the crowd. I had seen Dhruv sulking on the bar watching her dance but when he caught my sight, he quickly looked away.
