Choosing people to have in your life can be difficult,
You cannot always read somebody's mind or intentions.
Some of us hide deep, dark secrets and the true purpose.
People are unpredictable, ill and cruel.
Choose a person who is always willing to try,
A person that doesn't walk away when you slam the door.
Choose the person who stands in the rain, for days on end.
The one who waits and waits, slowly coaxing you out.
Choose a person who doesn't make excuses,
A person who does the absolute best to be there.
Choose the one who fights for your connection,
They let nothing or nobody stand in their way.
They manage to find a way to get to you.
Choosing a special somebody to have in life is exhausting,
While you may not read the person or persons,
Listen to the feeling that sits inside of you.
That feeling will always tell the truth more than words or actions they say.
