That must have taken you on a wild ride, I assume? Whew!

Many of these poems were written a few years after the events had occurred. The Goodbye Best Friend & Residual, Haunted poems are about a guy friend that I had been inseparable with ever since middle school. After high school, we remained friends but things became complicated when he confessed his feelings to me. There was a lot of drama surrounding this, as you could tell. This is a long story (which would take forever to tell.) The events that happened during that time frame were extremely crazy, I had been angry. The way that I dealt with my emotions was to write down exactly what I felt. He has never seen these poems, I am sure he never will.

The poem about my mother was also a hard topic for me to write, I always felt guilty for feeling that way about my mom.. I knew you aren't supposed to. That you need to wholeheartedly love your mother. But because of the way I grew up, it's been hard. Again, writing these poems has helped me not only get my emotions out.. but truly helps me heal these core wounds.

I love writing, it has always been a huge part of my life. I enjoy writing these poems and I hope YOU (fellow reader) enjoyed as well. <3 I'm glad that I was able to gather these poems up and share them with everybody. Again, most of my poems talk about deep wounds of mine. It took a lot to post these online where everyone can see them. I do ask that you be respectful of my experiences. Just know- do not judge a book by its cover. If someone takes the time out of their day to open up, listen. All you have to do is listen and open your heart.

I wish you ALL a safe, healthy and happy life. It may be hard right now, but it will not be this way forever. I'm still in my healing journey, I am nowhere near where I want to be. But I am not the same person I was five years ago. Love and Light to you beautiful people.

XO,
