This was so awkward. Ha-Rin still hadn't spoken to us since yesterday at dinner. No one had dared calling her after her little scene.
We were all sitting in the airport with each of our headphones on. I had no idea what the others were listening to. I only knew I was listening to 'Us' by BallaKu right now. It was one of my favorites of his solo songs. He had made a couple of songs with other groups before, but this one has always been my favorite.
Soon the song ended and the next song on my playlist began. 'Keep me up'. I really loved BallaKu's songs. He also tried to debut with 5wirl back then, but now they only collab on some songs occasionally.
Genshin Entertainment for some reason didn't find BallaKu fitting into the group, and now they are 5wirl. There was also another person called Bennett who tried to debut with them. But he didn't even get to sing soloist. Bad luck I suppose. Though he was in some of the songs, just because he was a decent singer, he failed at everything else, because of his clumsiness.
My beige headphones got lifted off my left ear. I knew only Ae-Cha could have done it since that was the side she sat on. Our eyes met and she smiled at me.
"What are you listening to? I need some song requests, since I don't listen to BallaKu that often." Her smile was awkward and slightly off to one side. I tried giving my best smile back before answering her with 'Us' that I had heard a couple minutes ago.
When I finally got my headphones back, the next song was already playing. This was a collab between 5wirl and BallaKu, with Bennett on this album. I had to open my phone to check what it was called. A message from an hour ago was also displayed along with my Spotify playlist.
My mom just wanted to wish me a good weekend and a good concert in her message. I quickly sent a red heart emoji back to her, before looking at the song's name again. 'Rover'. This song was quite new and in their newest album.
"Flight 143 to Inazuma is ready for flight and all passengers must board immediately." We all stood up at the static voice from the speakers.
Ha-Rin was the first to walk. She also speed walked over to the plane and was quick to find her seat. Luckily for her, I had placed her and Rue beside each other, by her begs and Rue's begs not to.
Cho and Cha were beside each other. While I got the window seat beside some screaming kid and his father.
The playlist got even louder in my headphones, so the kid's screaming and crying could not be heard. I don't know which would destroy my ears first, but I bet on the kid.
When we were up in the air and getting ready to fly for 6 hours straight, I picked up my phone from my lap. I looked through Instagram for any updates or other idols coming to BallaKu's concert.
The biggest concert of the year switched from idol to idol in Genshin Entertainment. Last year DCKZ had the biggest concert with 70.000 attendees in Mondstadt. Everyone was surprised that Mondstadt had a place for that many, but it happened.
This year though. Because BallaKu is the most loved and known idol for Genshin, his concert would have up to 90.000 attendees, maybe even more.
I know my parents tried to get VIP tickets. And I know they failed. What would they bribe him with? Money? He is richer than both of their bank accounts times three. They could have done nothing.
