"(Y/N)?" Rue was clearly confused to find me in his bed the next morning. His hair was ruffled up in a nest, and his shorts had crawled their way up his legs during the night. His eyes were blurry and tired.
"Rue." My voice was just like his. Confused. And yet, I was just acting. And I was extremely talented at it as well. I seemed unaware that I had moved into his room in the middle of the night, and he seemed to have no idea. The moon had just appeared, the stars glinting and shimmering. All watching me. Staring me down.
While Rue didn't have anything on his chest - which in case you didn't already know was extremely hot - I had a dark grey t-shirt with some random meme print.
"What are you doing in here? What if anyone sees?" He finally got the position we were both in and sat up. I stayed up the entire night, and made sure that we kept our distance a couple of inches.
"To answer your first question, I don't know. To answer your second question, frick them. Who cares? Not me." That was another little lie. An innocent lie. A bad lie. I cared so much. I cared about Ha-Rin and the others. I cared that me and Rue were in the same bed. That we slept in the same bed. Well, he slept, not me. Paranoia and all.
Rue jumped out of the bed and pulled a hoodie over his head. His elegant hand glided smoothly through his hair, stopping at all knots. He quickly brushed out the knots and styled it to the side.
"I know I said that if you wanted to see someone without a shirt just ask. But at least ask." Now the Rue I knew was back. With a wink and a side looped smirk.
A chuckle escaped my lips and our eyes met. I nodded my head as I sat up on the bed. Soft pillows and blankets surrounded me. Something on the bed gave after, and I soon realized that it was Rue who sat down.
"Ready for today?"
"Born ready!" I jumped out of the bed and sneaked out of the room. Ha-Rin was still sound asleep on the couch. Her beige blanket was on the floor and her hair was messy. Morning hair. Her face is still covered with the making from yesterday. There was some on the pillow about to fall.
Her appearance was just like any other 16 year old girl right now. Tired and relaxed. Yet tense and stressed. A weird combination, but that's teenagers nowadays. I was like that as well. Only a year difference is not that much. Is it?
"Wake up girl!" Cho jumped in through our door with a huge smile on her face. She was the only one who looked presentable right now. Even Ae-Cha's hair was messy, not as much as Ha-Rin's, but still.
"They are serving breakfast in our rooms at eight, or we can go down and eat now." Ae-Cha pouted in the corner. Apparently almost everything had sakura, well everything that was traditional Japanese sweets. The breakfast itself also had stuff from other regions, but mostly. Even the soap was sakura scented.
The time was seven thirty. Thirty one. We would have about half an hour to get ready, or Cho could just tell the reception that we would get our own breakfast today. That was too possible.
"Aren't there breakfast croissants? Or French toast?" I tried to find something for Ae-Cha to eat.
"Well yes. But the croissants have chopped sakura flowers sprinkled on top, the French toast has sakura in the dough and is pink. You hear me? PINK!" Ae-Cha fell dramatically to the ground with a hand on her forehead.
"Well, omelet? Don't all fancy hotels have a yogurt place thingy as well?" Ha-Rin was finally awake and listened in on Ae-Cha and I's conversation.
"Omelet is not enough to give me a full stomach, and yes they have a yogurt place... With sakura yogurt. And only sakura yogurt. What can I eat? Omelet and lettuce, that's what!"
