"Eat." Cho pushed a piece of sushi into my mouth with her chopsticks. The taste of fish and rice filled my mouth as the girls' laughter filled my ears.
"Thank god that this place is so close to the concert. I was starving." Ae-Cha could actually eat most foods here. It was a sushi train restaurant. It was only the dessert that you could buy after eating, that she couldn't eat.
I smiled and swallowed my piece of sushi. Ae-Cha happily devoured the temaki she had gotten. Rue and Ha-Rin were talking. Both of them. Not just Ha-Rin, but Rue answered back, even asked some questions. That was very surprising, but good, honestly.
"(Y/N) at the concert you will not be distant like until now, okay? We want to be there with you, not there with a lifeless doll." Cho reached over me and picked up some sushi from the train. I nodded at her words and took one nigiri up with my chopsticks. Ae-Cha smiled at me halfway through her temaki.
Rue was the most casual dressed of all of us. Just a basic, deep purple tee and loose black jeans. It suited him, don't get me wrong, but compared to all of us girls matching outfits, his was pretty boring.
"Girls we need to take a picture together! I saw a post with a group, and their outfit was less cute than ours, and yet they got thousands of likes on insta!" Ae-Cha spoke with her mouth full of rice. I looked down at myself. I mean, was it okay? Was it really that cute? I thought it was ordinary outfit for a concert? Wasn't it?
"Uhm, sure later though. After we have eaten." I smiled at her and took the last nigiri in my mouth. Ae-Chakept on throwing food into her mouth. Everyone else was already done eating, and we just waited for her to be done. She didn't even get to swallow her food before running out to find a place to take pictures. She must've known how late we already were.
"GUYS THERE IS A WALL WE CAN TAKE PICTURES UP ON OVER HERE!" Ae-Cha shouted from across the street and pointed to a white wall. I ran before everyone else, with Cho and Ha-Rin right behind me. When Rue finally showed up as well, Ae-Cha handed Rue her phone with the camera app open, Cho handed her with lighting and we all went up to the wall.
"Girls please stop messing around we won't get any good pictures." We all laughed at Rue's complaint, Ha-Rin and I actually listened though, the other two...
"Just take the picture, we won't get them to shut up." Rue nodded and took one. Ae-Cha ran up and looked at her phone.
"Do I look too tall?" Ha-Rin sneaked a glance over Ae-Cha's shoulder, but Ae-Cha had already posted it.
"Can we go to the concert already?" Rue stepped up behind me. I smiled at him and nodded. "Buzz kills." Ae-Cha huffed. Though it didn't take long for her to jump around and sing Drunk Dazed by BallaKu. Cho soon joined in and ran with their arms linked together.
"How on earth did we become friends with them?" I mumbled and Ha-Rin let out a laugh. Her mouth curled upwards and her hair swinged side to side. No wonder Rue finally answered her, that he finally showed some interest in Ha-Rin.
"No clue. But we love them, right?" Did we? The only thing I had in common with any of them was my love for music, K-pop to be exact. But there was nothing else really. Ae-Cha loved dancing and singing, and she was pretty good as well. She was getting ready to audition for Genshin. I couldn't dance if I had a gun pointed at me.
Cho was the single mother who took care of everyone, but she was an adult, and wanted to get a job as a lawyer. She cared a lot about her education and spent most of her time with us or in the library, well her library which technically was Starbucks.
Ha-Rin was always out for guys and finding the one and only. She never succeeded, though she was a gorgeous girl filled with love and humor.
Me? I didn't know who I was. An ordinary girl who got an average B. A normal girl who liked music. I was normal. Boring even. There was never anything interesting going on in my life. The most exciting thing was my parents' wealth, and even that was nothing to scream out about.
"(Y/N) you there?" Rue gave a light push to my shoulder and I snapped back. A quiet nod and I left the talk. Boring. I was boring.
The singing continued in front of me, and the talk behind me. Inside me, the voice screamed up, the ghost haunted my side and poked my back. I turned my head but nothing was there. No one was there. But I felt it. I'm sure something poked my back-
"(Y/N)?" I turned my head. Rue and Ha-Rin still spoke. Their laughs and loud voices filled the streets. "(Y/N)?" Again the voice. Not them, not-
"In front of you." I snapped my head back, and there was a white mist covering for the girls laughter in front of me. The mist swarmed around me and snickered my name, taunting it out loud.
"Who-"
"(Y/N) you okay?" The mist disappeared and Ha-Rin's hand on my shoulder. "Did you see that?" She looked around and then back at me. "See what?" Ha-Rin lifted one of her eyes brows and I shook my head.
"Nothing." Her hand disappeared and her and rue's voice was back on the street. Nothing. There was nothing. Just my imagination. Just the time difference from the flight making me tired. Nothing.
There was nothing.
Nothing.
