"That took a long time." Ae-Cha yawned and stretched her arms high above her head. Her cropped t-shirt almost went too high up, so Cho had to pull it down. They both laughed at it and Ae-Cha grabbed her suitcase again.
Ha-Rin was still pestering and talking to Rue like they had known each other for years. Like they were best friends. Like he had been a part of our friend group longer than Cho, Ae-Cha and me.
Rue clearly didn't want to talk with her, and sent me irritated glares and glances every now and then. I couldn't help but laugh. I knew that Rue didn't have any interest in Ha-Rin, and that she 'loved' him. It was clearly a one-way relationship.
"How long do we have to walk?" Cho peeked over my shoulder to see my phone with the GPS. I pointed at the time and whispered an answer to her. She nodded and returned to Ae-Cha.
The two laughed so loudly that some from Inazuma gave them annoyed stares and whispered - they could have just shouted it and the message would have been just as clear - stuff for their friends or partners beside them.
In spite of my attempts to apologize, I got judged just as much as my friends. I just knew I was judged and stared at. Their eyes were enough. No words are needed. We were clearly just dumb tourists and nothing more.
"Is this it? Kamisato Hoteru? Sounds fancy." In front of Cho there was a huge, white building. The windows were decorated with mosaics in many variations of blue and turquoise. Huge letters spelling out 'Kamisato Hoteru' were placed on top of the door.
A garden - in the same shades as the building - grew out from behind the huge building, and out to the pathway.
"Your parents must've spent a lot of money on this hotel?" Rue was clearly the only one who didn't know about my parents' place in society. My dad works as an assistant for our Archon, and my mother is his personal lawyer.
I was sure it wasn't legal, but what would they do? Tell the Archon who gave the job to my mom?My only response was a tight nod. The others followed right behind me as I opened the heavy doors of the hotel.
The inside was just as majestic and gorgeous as the outside. Light blue walls along with beige and white furniture colors. Plants filled up the empty space and instead of a red carpet, a light blue with beige and baby pink swirls was rolled out on the floor.
A colored light from the mosaic windows glanced down at us and the receptionist. Her hair was in a tight, slicked back bun. Her black hair shined with gel, and her dark eyes reflected the light. On her chest, covered with a white polo shirt, was a name tag that spelled out 'Choku'.
"Hello and welcome to Kamisato Hoteru. How may I help you?" Choku's voice was smooth and elegant, just like this place. Her scent of sakura flowers and citrus was enough for Ae-Cha to hold a long distance to her. A smile couldn't help but appear on her lips.
"Oh yes, I have booked two rooms under the name (F/N) (L/N)?" Choku smiled at my response and typed the name in on her computer. She sent glances towards Ha-Rin and Rue a couple of times, but kept her mouth closed.
"Yes of course, let me see if I can find it... Ah, right here. A daburu and a toripuru?" That sounded Japanese. Just like Kamisato Hoteru did. I suppose it meant double and triple? But I had no clue.
"Yeah I believe so." A smile formed on my lips. An awkward smile. One of those where everyone can see how uncomfortable you are, but they say nothing since you try to smile at them. Yeah, now it is 11 slaps.
"Okay here are your keys. If anything should happen, there is a phone number on each key and on the door. Anything else I can help with?"
"No, I think that will do, thank you." I took the keys from her hand. They were cold. The teeth on the key seemed sharp and the edge was different for each key. Room 425 and 426. Right beside each other on the fourth floor. The building was extremely tall, I believe it had thirteen and sixteen floors.
Ae-Cha and Cho would share a room, and the rest of us would share one. They were almost fully booked. Probably for the concert. It was only a ten minute walk from here, so if we met another extremely rich fan here, I wouldn't be surprised.
"Okay there are three beds. One in a separate room from the other two. I think Rue should get that room, since he is the only guy-"
"I will take it!" Rue ran out of the living room with his suitcase behind him. His hair flew and the door slammed shut.
Some people considered the entire room to be a huge apartment. Two bathrooms with white and silver decorations. It had a large bathtub and a shower equal to a normal bathroom. More than one could fit in there.
The main bedroom was also huge. You could separate the bed into two smaller ones if you wanted to. Both are still huge, even when separated.
In the living room a huge TV was placed over a fish tank. Well, there were no fish there, but it was still pretty. A grey couch with thick, soft, white pillows embroidered with blue flowers.
This felt rich. Very rich. Uncomfortably rich. Like a spoiled brat rich. I didn't like it. It was too big. Too airy. Too...much? Not my style. But it worked. Worked very well.
Ha-Rin would rather sleep on the couch, than in the same room as me after I stole her chance with Rue. As if I did. She could have him for all I cared. I didn't like her jealousy. And that was what made me do it.
