The blue waves kissed the beige beach. The first one is small, then the second one is larger. Waves almost completely wiped out the beach. Waves that had become dark gray from all the sand and stones. Waves ate the entire seafront to nothing.
Our plane was right above the beach. The storm from the sea had caught up to us, and we needed to land before we arrived in Inazuma city. Everyone on the plane was so confused. The kid next to me screamed even louder.
"Well I guess we can't see BallaKu then?" I heard Ha-Rin's loud voice. It was clearly directed at me. A loud and clear voice.
I shook my head and turned my phone off. Inazuma's Yashiori Island was surrounded by gray clouds.
The landing place was surprising. Why not Watatsumi Island instead? Isn't the landscape and the weather better? Along with the view. And people.
"The next flight is in two hours. And then we have to fly for two hours. So we will arrive at the hotel two and a half hours later than we were supposed to." I put my phone back inside my pocket.
Ha-Rin groaned and clinged her arm around Rue. "Can't we just take the next flight to Ritou instead? It is just a bit of walking?"
"Well if we were to leave for Ritou, the next flight is in half an hour. We haven't even gotten our stuff yet." Cho-Hee and I were clearly the only ones with any brain. Ae-Cha was out buying coffee for everyone. Rue and Ha-Rin weren't helping.
"I don't care. (Y/N) can just buy us some temporary clothing and we'll be fine. Right (Y/N)?" Ha-Rin sighed after her brief sugar talk. I was about to answer when Cho-Hee did it for me.
"(Y/N) is not made of money. Neither are her parents. And even if any of them were, it is their money for a reason. She could also send you back to Fontaine and then with any form of patience, we will go to the concert." Cho-Hee's brown hair was set up in two mini buns. The buns moved with each move and each word.
Ha-Rin seemed to get it. She sat down on a bench complaining about her life being unfair and that we were all spoiled bitches anyways. I have tried to push my non-cursing habits on my friends, and yet, none seemed to get it.
"Ha-Rin, I got your favorite!" Ae-Cha's voice rang from across the airport. Ha-Rin's face lit up when she heard it, and Ha-Rin was quick to take the drink in her hand. While Ae-Cha handed out the drinks to everyone else, Ha-Rin needed to whine again.
"Is that the exact order?"
"Yes Rin, it is. Iced Matcha with coconut milk, peppermint syrup and vanilla cold foam?"
Ha-Rin could only grunt a reply, before she filled her mouth up with the green and white drink. Ae-Cha was the only one not to get a coffee.
As always she got iced black tea with mango dragon fruit or lemonade and peach. She had seen them both on Tik Tok and fell in love with them both.We tried our favorite drinks from a Tik Tok we all did together a few years back. We had all found some drinks we thought each other would like, and we ordered them for each other.
Mine was a (F/SD) and I was pretty sure Cho-Hee's favorite was a toffee nut iced latte with caramel drizzle and pistachio cold foam. Or was it just normal cold foam? I honestly don't remember.
"What did you get for Rue?" Cho-Hee asked for me. Glad she did. Or else would I ever know the answer? Too awkward to ask, don't ask. Pretty basic (Y/N) knowledge.
Basic (Y/N) knowledge could also be: If they don't want to speak with you. Shut your mouth. Basic (Y/N) knowledge was the most asocial and lonely knowledge. I always called it (Y/N) knowledge, and I wrote some down and decorated my walls with them.
"A caramel cold brew. I normally don't drink coffee, but when I do, I want it so sweet that diabetes is just around the next drink." Rue smiled at Cho-Hee, who smiled awkwardly back. They were the only adults here. Ha-Rin is the youngest.
Ha-Rin surprisingly didn't have some comments like: Just as sweet as you. But she just kept drinking coffee. Her mouth only opened when she sipped. The green color matched her eye shadow and shirt. A light green.
"So what are we going to do while waiting? We can't even go shopping, we have to stay here." Rue asked before drinking his diabetes sweet drink. Sugar on sugar. Sweet and sweet. It sounds like too much sugar for my taste. Too sweet.
"Well there are shops in this airport as well. And a Mac D as well. We could just sit down and eat and talk until the flight is here?" Cho-Hee's suggestion was the only realistic one we had so far.
We soon got our suitcases. MacDonald's was far away, so we finished our drinks when we arrived.
"Why is there almost only sakura things here?" Ae-Cha was not normally the one to complain, but her allergy to sakura, and most other flowers and pollen, really made her complaint okay.
"You can get a burger?" Rue suggested with a sweet smile. Ae-Cha gave him a disgusting look.
"I am on a diet. Coffee and salad are my diet. And yet, the only salad they have here is with sakura leaves! What am I supposed to do?" Ae-Cha was about to break down on the floor and hammer things into the wall.
"Well, you could ask if it was possible to get it without sakura? It is sakura season, so can you blame them for adding the stuff to the menu?" Ae-Cha was boiling with rage and disappointment. Cho sent me a look that told me to shut the fuck up. Even though I tried to help. Plus one hit for when I am alone. That sums it up to around ten?
"I'm sure we will figure something out."
Sure we will.
