The day that I've been dreading, yet also excited about, was finally here. I thank the people who volunteered to help the booths rather than make the council do all the work, giving me the chance to enjoy the first day atleast.

I try to navigate my way through the crowd, pushing past sweaty bodies caused by the heat of the summer air. 'Were there this many students before?!' I thought bitterly, my eyebrows scrunching when hearing the mixed chattering all around me.

Regardless, I make it out of the crowd and finally get a decent view of the ongoing soccer match. Even louder mixed chattering filled my ears as people talked and cheered for the players, debating on which team would win. Can't blame them though, the match was intense. Especially since it was just the first day, with everyone expecting a lot from the athletes.

My eyes wander around the field before making contact with Reo and Nagi's figures running around the field. I had come here per Reo's request, who kept taunting me to watch might I add.

After a while, it was finally halftime break where I quickly run to the sidelines of the field. I had two water bottles in hand with the intention of giving it to Nagi and Reo. On my way to them, I walk pass one of the players, who I noticed was struggling to catch his breath.

He looked like he was gonna pass out at any moment. Worried, I quickly give him the water bottle. "Hey, take this. You should stay hydrated to avoid passing out.."

I watch as he looked up at me, his breathing starting to become more stable. Looking at the bottle then at me, he states, "Thank you..." before sending me smile and taking the bottle from my hand.

With that, I state out sheepishly, "Don't mention it. Just be sure to bring water next time, okay?" Giving him a close eyed smile, I tell him that I have to go.

I send a little wave, before walking away. Not noticing the intense stare directed towards the boy and I from the other side of the field.

Nagi scoffs at the sight.

He doesn't know why he feels like this, but he feels bitter at the sight of you giving his water to someone else. That someone else being his opponent.

Yeah, sure, you went out of your way to go back to the crowd of bodies again just to get another water bottle for him, but the fact that you gave his water to someone else in the first place? Hmph.

An advanced rest in peace to that boy, and his teammates by extension, because Nagi did not hold back after that.

After the halftime break was over and the match resumed, he sees this as a chance to show off the skills he didn't even know he had. Nagi felt the need to show you that he's far way better than that random dude. All because of a damn water bottle.

This act surprising Reo and Nagi himself. Since when did he put this much effort in playing?

Reo almost snorted at the realization. He had been watching the whole time, being beside Nagi and wondering why he wasn't listening to what he was saying. Following his gaze only to see the sight of you helping their opponent.

The match continued being even more intense than the last one. With Nagi moving almost inhumanely, scoring goals after goals.

"This is such a pain." Nagi mumbles while wiping his sweat using the inner collar of his jersey, lifting it to reveal a sneak peak of his toned abdomen.

The match had just finished with them being the winning team. Now they were in the middle of the field catching their breaths as the crowd around them cheered even louder than before.

Nagi's eyes wander around the crowd. And almost as if it's a sixth sense, he instantly spots you, looking at him as you joined in the cheering; a wide smile gracing your features, making you look all the more breathtaking.

Even better when the smile was directed towards him.

He loves the way he can easily spot you in a crowd of people. Loving the way he can point out your distinctive voice in the midst of hundreds. Loving the way where when he sees you, he sees nobody else but you. It's just you and you.
