The one week break seemed to pass by in a blur as we were now back in this living hell of a prison called school.
I can still feel the sleep in my eyes after my body had gotten used to the feeling of not waking up early.
Feeling drowsy, I begin to move my body, stretching each limb and joint. With my arms raised high, I feel the tension melt away from my muscles. Shortly after, I tilt my head from side to side, relieving any stiffness in my neck.
With each stretch, my body awakened, becoming more limber and agile. I took deep breaths, feeling the air fill my lungs and energize my being. As I continued my gentle movements, my body became alive, ready to face whatever bullshit lies ahead.
Upon finishing my little daily routine of stretching, I hear the door of the council room creek open and shut close. Looking up, I see the student body's secretary, Xei.
"Oh, hey (Y/n)!" She sends me a wide smile.
Raising an eyebrow at her enthusiastic energy at such an early hour, I question, "Hey, what's with the energy?" letting out a giggle afterwards.
She probably thinks that I didn't notice the way her eyes slightly widened 'cause she casually voices out a reply with a half nervous voice, "Oh, nothing. Haha.."
'Nothing' Yeah, sureee. As if I can't see the blush that dusted her cheeks.
Clearing her throat, she sheepishly asks, "So uhmm... Do you wanna go with me to Reo and Nagi's practice..? They uhh.. invited me haha..."
The once confident and quick-witted secretary was now full on standing cowardly with her face now red and avoiding any eye contact from me.
"Oh? They did?"
Hearing the question, she now looks at me-blush disappearing- and enthusiastically nods, letting out a series of 'Mhm mhm's'.
"C'monnn! You should join us! I wouldn't want to be lonely at the bench." Xei begs.
She continues, "Plus! I don't wanna be alone with them.." I immediately take notice of the blush coming back.
"Hmm.." I hum, considering the offer, "Sure."
Looking back at the paperwork that piled up over the break, I continue, "But I'll be late though. I have to deal with this." I point at the mountain of paper, sulking.
With that, Xei barks out a laugh. "Sure, (Y/n)! Later!" she shouts before leaving the student council room.

I'm an idiot.
Such an idiot for leaving my uniform's blazer in my classroom. Cause now I have to experience the suffering of feeling the harsh blowing wind, the cold seeming to bite and nip at my skin.
