The crowd was loud.
Very very loud.
But it could not compare to the sound of my rapidly beating heart.
I can hear it pounding in my chest, a blossoming feeling swelling in it. With the sensation of his lips sending my mind into overdrive, I can't think properly.
I don't know how to react.
How am I supposed to? Not when my bestfriend's bestfriend is passionately kissing me as if his life depended on it. As if he had been waiting for this.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't as well.
Letting go of all the questions and logic my mind was currently filled with, I kiss him back, my lips moving in sync with his. It was almost by instinct.
I can feel him tilt the angle of his head as he leans more into my touch. I can't help but do the same and cling on to him, as if I hadn't had any physical interactions for years.
I know it's wrong and that I shouldn't feel this way, but my want for stopping is nowhere to be found.
With his hands cupping my cheeks and my arms around his neck, the both of us reluctantly pull away. He leans his forehead onto mine as he longingly stares at me, his deep gray eyes making contact with my own.

Despite being caught off guard, I close my eyes and engulf him in the warmth of my embrace, my arms now wrapping themselves around his waist. "Mhm..." I hum,

Reo and Xei gape at each other in bewilderment as the scene in front of them unfolds.
Staring at each other from across the aisle, Xei mouths, 'Is this supposed to happen???' pointing at the two in front.
Reo impressively understanding her, he mouths back, 'No???'.
Although the confusion in his response, even shrugging his shoulders to express it, he still had a wide grin on his face.
Yeah. Now, he was definitely not gonna shut up about this.
From their peripheral vision, they catch sight of the frantic motions the priest was doing. Immediately, they turn to face him.
Seeing the two looking at him, he loudly whispers to the both of them, 'This isn't part of the script!'
'We know!' Both of them responded at the same time with the same tone.

"Didn't expect that to happen now did we?"
"Oh shut up!" I said, warmth starting to creep up to my cheeks.
Right now, Reo was teasing the hell out of me. How long has he been at it? I don't know. All I know is that I want nothing but to beat the shit out him right now. God this is so embarrassing.
I quickly give a not-so light punch to his arm.
"Ow! Okay okay, I'll stop. Jeez..."
The whole event had ended with everyone congratulating us for being 'newlyweds'. And now we're here, mindlessly walking around campus as everyone around us greeted, but not without the usual, 'Congrats on the successful wedding!'
Apparently, gossip spreads like wildfire in this school.
I snap out of my thoughts when I feel a hand snake it's way onto mine, it's fingers wrapping around it. Along with the touch, I feel the foreign feeling of something paper-like.
Oh, right. After the whole shenanigan went down, they gave us paper rings to seal the deal.
After turning my head to look at Nagi, he immediately pecks my lips before doing the same with the temple of my head. Nuzzling his face into my hair, he whispers, "(Y/n).... I love you...."
