2:01P.M.
Sitting down on the leather couch, I take the remote and adjust the settings of the air conditioner before looking to the side. There, I catch sight of Nagi sulking. From the time we've been together, I can tell when he is. With the droop of his shoulders and the slight frown on his face, it can be pretty easy to decipher.
Still, I wonder what's bothering him. I've noticed that he only acts like that when I'm busy doing something. But right now I'm definitely free from anything, especially since there's no class for a whole week. The school made it so that the athletes can rest as well as the council. So, why now?
Deciding that the best way to lighten up his mood was to play video games with him, I suggest, "Hey, wanna play minecraft with me?"
"Sure." he immediately responds. I try to hide the fact that I noticed the way he immediately beamed.
As we were playing, someone walks in the room. "Hey guys, the snacks are in the fridge." a certain grape head informed as he continued to sit next to us. Right, I almost forgot. We were currently staying at Reo's.
"Okay." I responded, my eyes still glued to the screen.
A second after, I catch sight of Nagi's character placing a bed right next to mine. With that, I take my eyes off the screen and turn to look at him. Chuckling, I joked, "You can't do that. We have to get married first."
Expecting a lighthearted response, I instead received a serious-faced Nagi. He stared before he opened his mouth to say, "We are." I watch as his eyes drifted to look at my hand. "But you aren't wearing the ring." he pouts.
Only then did I realize that Nagi was still wearing the paper ring from two days ago.
Upon realizing, I feel my body begin to heat up. Looking away in an attempt to hide my flustered face, I clear my throat before responding, "Oh uhm- I'll start wearing it tomorrow.."
"Why not now?"
- 5:19P.M.
With a quick swipe across the screen, the girl catches sight of the current time. "Sorry guys, but I have to go now." she states with an apologetic look on her face.
"How about we accompany you?" Reo suggests, watching as she stood up from the couch.
"It's fine. Besides, it's still bright out."
"Alright, stay safe."
In response to that, (Y/n) simply nodded before looking at the seated Nagi and giving a quick peck on his cheek, leaning down to do so. "Bye." she whispered to him.
"Bye.." Nagi replies before looking up and returning the kiss, but only this time it's on her lips. The girl smiles before standing up straight again and giving the two a quick wave.
After hearing the front door click shut, the two could only sit in silence. But it wasn't for long before Reo broke it.
"Hey, since you two are dating now, why don't you get her something romantic?" he suggests, "I'll pay."
Nagi hadn't really thought about that, but he is sure that he's seen couples do that in movies. Taking it into consideration, he states, "Sure. But I don't know what to get her."
"Hmm.." Reo hummed, deep in thought, "Ah, let's go to this one shop I always pass by everytime I go jogging."
...
"Are you sure this is what you want to get her..."
In response to his question, Nagi replies with a simple, "Yeah." proving that he isn't a tad bit worried about what he chose. Reo could only continue to stare doubtfully at what Nagi had recently gotten.
"Alrigh- Okay- Let's just give this to her tomorrow."
- 10:21A.M.
Hearing the doorbell ring throughout the whole house, the girl has no choice but to check out who it is. Upon opening the door, she sees the two figures standing in front, dressed in casual clothing.
"Huh? What are you two doing here?" she quickly asked before taking notice of something one of them was holding. "And what's that for?"
"For you." the white haired boy responded.
"Oh- oh.. thank you."
Trust me, (Y/n) is thankful. She just got caught off guard. The said girl takes ahold of the gift before further inspecting it.
Reo quickly interrupts, "I told him to buy you a bouquet but he got you that instead."
It was a bunny-shaped cactus.
And with that, Nagi adds, "Since I have a girlfriend now, Choki should too."
Taking in the information, the girl smiles, feeling the squeezing of her heart at the reminder of Nagi constantly bringing up his friend cactus in the video calls everytime they played.
Looking up to look at Nagi, her smile widens before uttering out, "It's cute. Thank you."
Seeing the loving look the two shared, Reo decides that this is his cue to leave.
"I'll leave you two alone now. Bye!"
Before (Y/n) could protest, he was already gone.
