It was now the last day of the sports fest. Which means only one thing; the council was gonna be busier than ever.

With the last day of the event, it was no doubt that everyone would be interested in trying all of the booths. With people running around like headless chickens, and lines of them being longer than the ones from the past few days, you really can't blame (Y/n) if her attention was elsewhere other than Nagi.

Nagi, though, can't seem to accept that fact as he was now leaning his entire body weight onto her. Please don't forget that this boy is 190cm tall.

She groans before acknowledging the boy, "Nagi.. I love you and all, but I'm busy."

"I love you too." He replies, seeming to only acknowledge the 'I love you' part.

"Nagi." She said, giving him a pointed look.

He huffs before getting off of her and walking away to god knows where.

She sighed in relief as her back was now free from the sore position it was in not that long ago from supporting Nagi. 'Finally, some peace and alone time.'

Now that quote on quote 'peace and alone time' was quickly crushed as Nagi went back. But with someone else.

That someone else being Reo.

Looking at the two in confusion, I ask, "What are you two doing?" Only to be ignored in response.

Reo walks past me as he whispers something to the girls who I was assigned with in dealing with the booth. The girls let out giggles before turning to look at me.

When they noticed me waiting for them to say something, they were quick to explain, "Hey (Y/n), you're free to do what you want now. We can handle this ourselves." one of them says as the others only nodded enthusiastically.

"Huh?" I send them an incredulous look before glancing at the horrifically long line of people. "But what about-"

"No! no! It's fine. We promise." Another one of them reassures, waving her hands around as if that would change my mind.

"C'mon (Y/n)! Go have fun!"

"Yeah! It's the last day after all."

"Please, leave it to us?" The one from before insisted.

"I- Okay. Fine." I sigh before turning away from them. "Thanks girls."

As a series of 'You're welcome!' and 'No problem!' could be heard, I give Reo a look that practically screamed 'What the fuck did you do.'

He only smirked and gave me a wink as a reply.

"Anyways-" He says, changing the subject, "Let's go try out the horror booth! I heard it's pretty fun."

"Sounds like a hassle." Nagi states.

"Oh yeah, I've been meaning to try that." Agreeing with Reo, I look at him grinning.

"Nevermind. Let's go try it out." Nagi said, quickly changing his past opinion.

You really shouldn't have agreed.

Because now you're here. In the middle of Reo and Nagi. Screaming your lungs out.

Tightly gripping on both of their arms as you flinched at every sound you heard. Even if it ended up being from you three's own footsteps.

It was kinda funny actually. With you screaming bloody murder, Reo laughing, and Nagi's bored face.

It was definitely a sight to see.

...

"Oh fuck!" Reo cursed as he continued to laugh. "My stomach hurts!"

We had just gotten out and I swear I was about to faint. With the constant screaming and the heat of the room, it was no surprise that I started seeing stars.

I groaned as I fanned myself using my hand, a poor attempt at trying to cool down the heat and drying the sweat that practically bathed me.

I feel a cloth being rubbed on my forehead, probably to absorb the said sweat. I look up only to see Nagi already staring at me.

"Are you okay?" He asks.

"Yeah." I answered, my voice coming out croaky and hoarse. I grab the cloth that Nagi graciously offered, before rubbing my neck with it.

Nagi grabs the back of my head before leaning down and kissing my forehead. "Let's go get something to eat. C'mon." He offers, walking away as if nothing happened, leaving me to become a flustered mess.

Maybe trying it out wasn't that bad.

We ended up getting snacks from the vending machine before finding a comfortable spot at the outdoor tables near the cafeteria.

We peacefully ate as we talked about random topics and nonsense things that we know we'd forget about.

"Ah, (Y/n), you're into those cliche romance dramas right?" Reo brings up.

I raise my brow at him at the random question. "Uh kinda, why?" I shoot him a question back.

"Well, I heard there's this new series that came out and the girls at my class won't stop talking about it."

Interested, I ask another question, "What's it about?"

"It's about a girl who's afraid of love and romance or something I dunno." He shrugged. "And she has to deal with a secret admirer who keeps sending her letters."

He continues, "Come to think of it, you kinda look like the female lead."

"Really? What's the title?"

"Sour Grapes, I think...? I just overheard it and thought you'd like it."

(SHAMELESS SELF-PROMOTION FROM THE AUTHOR!!)

"Huh, I guess I'll check it out when I have free time."

With that, Reo snorted, "As if you ever do."

I glare at him before realizing something "Oh, right. I forgot to ask. Since the event is ending soon, what do you guys think are the good things about it?" I ask, seemingly out of the blue.

Reo answers first, "The good thing about it is that you two finally got together." he teases.

I glare at him for the second time now before turning to look at Nagi. Upon seeing me, he replies,

"The only good thing about it is that it's ending soon."
