Chapter 7- Wounded

Sooyun's POV:

I was waiting for Y/N and her friend and I suddenly felt nervous. The kind of nervous when you know your siblings are up to no good but you decide to ignore it because you might be exaggerating.

Suddenly the door of the booth slid open, revealing Y/N in a flower dress and my heart warmed up because she looks beautiful and she reminded me of Sooah once again.

All the warmth in my heart traveled to my face when I saw that the friend she brought along was Hazel.

Remembering how I made a fool of myself the following day, I stood up from my chair to greet them, almost tripping over my own feet.

I saw Hazel whispering something to Y/N and she replied but I couldn't hear anything. Y/N grabbed her hand and pulled her toward the chair across from me.

"Okay, so what's on the menu?" Y/N picked up the menu and I just stayed silent as I flashed a shy smile at Hazel.

"Oh, everything sounds divine but I have to go. I forgot I had an appointment with my doctor and I'm running late. You guys have fun and enjoy!"

She got up from her chair and walked towards the door "No Y/N wait. I-"

Hazel said and I tried to say something too "Y/N what is going on-" Y/N quickly shut the door close leaving me and Hazel in complete confusion.

Hazel slammed her head against the table and I just sat there awkwardly.

I didn't know what to do. Speaking to girls made me nervous to the point where I would act cold toward them which was clearly not a good thing.

I was about to speak but the waiter interrupted me "So what can I get started for you today?" I rubbed my nape and asked him for a bottle of sparkling water. He bowed and walked away.

I started spamming Y/N with messages, obviously upset at her for not telling me about this.

She made me plan a blind date for myself with the exception n that she didn't tell me or Hazel that it was a setup and brought us here with tricks. Hazel's head suddenly snapped up making me jolt in surprise

"Sooyun, I think is best if I just go. Wouldn't want to spill any more nonsense and make things worse." She said as she pulled out her phone and made a call. I couldn't deny that she looks pretty.

But even in the company, my eyes always managed to find her amongst everyone.

I kept admiring her and her pretty feature when suddenly, my eyes met hers and I felt something in my chest.

Maybe it was a sign. I received a message from Y/N that said 'Take a chance. don't screw up. Love you!' I put my phone down and looked into Hazel's eyes again.

This time she looked away and got up. I don't think I should let her go, so I grabbed her wrist and said "Wait! Please don't leave." she turned around and noticed that a tear formed in her left eye.

Her eyes were enchanting and I just wanted to keep looking at them. I shook my thought and asked her to sit down which she did.

"I want to apologize for my words yesterday." She took a sip of her water "No boss, you don't have to apologize for that. I got the message" she said and kept her eyes down. I handed her a napkin and she took it

"You think that your doing these small gestures is going to change what you said yesterday? I bet you wouldn't even have agreed to come if Y/N told you that I'd be tagging along. She's gonna get a piece of my mind when I see her" She burst out screaming. Saying all of these things to me.
