Chapter 18- 'Let's Break Up...'

Han Y/N POV:

"I need to catch my breath." I pull the girl next to me to sit down as well, and I try to regulate my breathing. I am sweating and I feel like I can't breathe.

"I can't believe they made you two run in this condition." Said Lin Fan as she stopped with us.

We are running 20 laps around the park.

Why?

Well, one of the trainees snuck a phone and the staff found out they were leaking pictures so now we are all receiving the punishment. The bad thing is that Liu Yuxin and I are sick.

We caught a cold two days ago due to being out in the rain. Who would've known our immune system was so weak?

"You shouldn't run anymore. Just stay here and I'll run the two extra laps for you." Yuxin says as she tried to get up but I pulled her back down.

"Are you crazy? Neither of us should be running. Let's just let the staff know and we will take a different punishment later." I hold her hand and walk with her towards the building.

"Bye, I guess!" I hear Lin Fan yell as we just left without saying anything. "Bye, Fanfan!" I yell as I turn back and she begins running again.

I walk with Yuxin hand in hand until we reach the building. I go into the director's office and he looks at me startled.

"Aren't you girls supposed to be out there running?" I nod my head.

"With all due respect, Liu Yuxin and I have a cold and we aren't feeling well at all. I don't think we should be out there running in the cold weather." I said and sat on a chair in the room.

"They will be fine. They probably just want to avoid the punishment. Sorry about the interruption sir." One of the other staff members entered the room and tried to drag us out.

"Hold on a second. Why are you two sick?" the director asks and I turn back.

"We were on a run yesterday and it started pouring down. We got drenched and now we are sick. We will gladly take any other punishment as long as we aren't in the cold and when we feel a bit better." I snapped back as I remove the staff's hand off my shoulder.

"Yeah, you two don't look good at all. Go take a nap and some medicine and then come back when you feel better." He dismissed us and told the staff to find us some medicine.

"Why is it that you two got to nap while we had to do laps around the park?" asked Keran as she walked into the room.

"Keke, they are sick. Give them a break." Lin Fan snapped back.

"Why are you both sick? It just doesn't make sense. For that to happen means that you were too close to each other and I mean close. So, explain yourselves." Keran kept going while she wiped her sweat and fixed her makeup.

"Lu Keran, please let them be. Help me get some wet towels Y/N has a fever." Lin Fan pulled Keran by the arm and went out of the room.

We haven't told anyone what happened that day and Yuxin and I haven't really defined our relationship.

Now I'm laying in bed, too dizzy to move and Yuxin is sitting on the chair next to me with a high fever. She kept taking care of me but was too stubborn to let me take care of her.

"Take your medicine, Yuxin," I said as I gather the strength to speak.

Soon Lin Fan walked in with wet towels and placed them over my head and arms. I felt the stinging cold water against my skin and I flinched.
