Chapter 21- Win Me Back

Han Y/N's POV:

"Thank you, Haerin! It was a pleasure working with you." I gave her a hug and she immediately returned it.

"No, thank you. I was really happy to work with you. I have been admiring you since your debut and I wanted to collab. I hope we can become good friends." She smiled and I nodded. Then, she left with her team.

"Y/N, we have to do a few more stops and then head back home. Sooyun is waiting for you for the annual dinner." I nodded and put on my headphones.

I had nothing to do but scroll through social media. I looked at all the photos of the girls. The girls I left behind that day are probably too mad at me for not keeping in contact.

I follow all of them on a secret account like most of us idols do so they have never recognized me and the comments I leave for them.

We dropped off my stylist first and then Taehyung picked up takeout food. After a few more stops we finally arrived back home.

I went straight to my room and got changed into a yellow flare dress and yellow pumps. My hair was still intact from the photoshoot as well as my makeup so I didn't bother fixing it.

I went downstairs where Sooyun and Taehyung were already dressed in their suits and slick back hair. They both looked at me and smiled. It was really creepy.

"Would you two stop that? You guys are weird." I said as I walked past them.

"Aren't you excited about tonight's dinner?" Sooyun asked as he offered his arm for me to hold.

"Yeah, so excited to get this over with." He looked at me in shock when I said those words.

"Sorry Sooyun, but I really don't understand this. According to you, Dad meant for this to be a thanks dinner where we spend time together and talk about good things and family but it's been different." I said as I let go of his arm and sit on a couch.

"Difrent how? I am just doing what my father wanted me to do. Keep the tradition." he said in a louder tone.

"Sooyun, all you and the staff do is talk about business and the trainees. Everyone wants to see how to get on your good side to get a raise or a promotion instead of working their way up. Can't you see that?" I said as I get up.

"Listen, Soo, don't tell me how to run my business and I won't tell you how to do your job. I've given you free rein on your career so stay out of it." I grew annoyed at his words, knowing he meant that the company was his when Dad left it to the three of us.

"Why have you become such an asshole? Last year was a bad year for the company but that doesn't mean that you leave your father's morals and wishes out. But if you wish for me not to meddle then I won't. I have no say in your company after all." I replied in a calm tone and sat back down.

"Soo, that's not what I meant. You know I-" the doorbell interrupted him and I walked to the door. I greeted the staff members as they came in and then walked away. I walked to the table and sat down at the end far away from Sooyun's chair.

The entire dinner was silent. Sooyun often times avoided business talk and glanced at me but I acted as if I didn't see anything. After we ate, I made my way to my room and took off my fancy clothes and my makeup, throwing my hair in a messy bun.

I heard several knocks and both Taehyung and Sooyun called for me but I ignored them and put on my headphones.

I grabbed my phone and scrolled through different social media pages till I got bored. I turned on a movie and just watched it till I felt my eyes heavy.
