Chapter 16- What Shirt Should I Wear?

Han Y/N POV:

"Does my makeup look good?" I asked Lin Fan as I applied lip tint. I tried to her expecting an answer but she just gave me thumbs up.

I'm currently staying at Lu Keran's house and Lin Fan and I are here as well. The show got postponed for a few days while Kong Xueer comes back and since I had nowhere to go, Keran offer to stay with
her. I would have gone to Mrs. Liu's home but I'm still mad at Liu Yuxin.

It feels like the only reason she got so close to me was because I look like my twin sister, who apparently was really special to her. Even though I wish we weren't fighting, I feel too hurt to say anything to her and I can't face her mom when I'm upset at her.

"So, where are we going anyways?" I turn to her again and go to sit on the bed. "I don't really know. Keran said she wanted you to meet someone." Who could Keran possibly want me to meet?

I mean Lin Fan and I have been going around the place and she's been taking me to her favorite places and we've been having fun so I'm really nervous about this mysterious person. Something about this whole thing makes me feel like she set me up to "meet" someone she wants me to date.

She's been rubbing it in my face how single I am and that I need to see other people and date. She might be right but I don't know anyone here so that makes it ten times more nerve-wracking.

"I'm back. Are you guys ready? Woah! Y/N You look amazing! I didn't know you knew how to do makeup like that! And that outfit? your date will be blown away!" Keran has never complimented me like this and it's making me scared. And, did she just say a date?

"So it is a damn date! Who did you set me up with, you twerp?" I asked as I pointed my finger at her.

"Okay, maybe not with your smart mouth. Just finish getting ready. Fanfan come here. I'll finish your makeup."

She walked to the chair where Lin Fan was sitting down and began doing her makeup. Lin Fan has been awfully quiet and now his whole thing is starting to make me concerned for her. Lin Fan is never this quiet and that's just who she is.

"Fanfan, why are you so quiet? You feeling okay?" She turned to look at me as well as Keran.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She gave me a soft smile and turned back to Keran. Keran bent down and whispered something in her ear before kissing her on the forehead. I smiled at the gesture but I was still curious about what was going on with her.

"Okay, Keran you have rubbed my singleness in my face enough. Don't do it more." I said as I collapse on the bed completely. I just heard her soft laugh.

"It's nice to finally meet you, Y/N. I've heard many good things about you. You're prettier up close." I'm standing in front of my so-called date. I don't know who this person is but they look oddly familiar like I've seen them before, and apparently, they do know me.

"Y/N, this is Peng Xichen. She is one of our bandmates and my stepsister." I turned to Lin Fan with wide eyes. No wonder she looked so familiar. I saw her at the company before but I had no idea she was Lin Fan's stepsister.

"So, what do you want to eat? I'll pay for you." Xichen said as she scooted closer for me to look at the menu she was holding. I looked up at Lin Fan who had a worried face and Keran who was trying to distract her.

All I wanted to know is why Lin Fan is acting like that. It makes me worry so much.

"I'll have whatever you have. I have to use the restroom really quickly. Come with me Fanfan." I got up and she followed me.
