Mckenna pov

That night I had the weirdest dream.

I was a baby wearing a frilly pink dress and I was laying in a crib looking at a baby mobile that had blue roses hanging from it

I watched them go around and and around until a woman with short blonde hair and a man with brown hair came into my line of vision

Isn't she beautiful Philip the woman said smiling at me

She is aurora. Just like you. Philip said as aurora picked me up

Oh Anastasia your so beautiful. I can't wait to watch you grow up into a beautiful young woman. Will be a perfect queen of auradon you get older Aurora said as started to sing

Sun goes down and we are here together
Fireflies glow like a thousand charms

Suddenly I was rudely woken from the dream by Evie and Mal

Mckenna get up we have to go to class Mal said as I nodded

Alright give me a minute I said as I got up and got dressed.

As we walked to goodness class I found myself humming the song from my dream

What's that song? Evie asked

Uh. Audrey was playing it all day yesterday and now I got is suck in my head I said lying

Oh. Evie said as we went inside.

Time skip*

We had been in goodness class for about half an hour and I wasl already bored

I sat behind Carlos and Jay and started zoning out thinking about the dream I had

Why would I be dreaming about Anastasia? And why did that dream feel like an actual memory? I asked myself as fairy godmother brought me out of my thoughts.

Mckenna are u paying attention? She asked as I nodded

If someone hands you a crying baby, do you, A, curse it? B, lock it in a tower? C, give it a bottle? Or D, carve out its heart? fairy godmother said going on with the lesson while I ran my hands though my hair and saw Evie raise her hand

Evie? Fairy godmother asked

What was the second one? Evie asked as me and Mal shook her head

Oh, okay. Anyone else? Mal? McKenna? Fairy godmother asked as Mal gave me a look saying it was my turn to answer

C, give it a bottle. I said

Correct. Again. Fairy godmother said

You are on fire, girl! Carlos said looking at both me and mal

Just pick the one that doesn't sound like any fun. Mal said

Oh. Carlos said

That makes so much sense Evie said

As I was about to zone back out again I heard the door open and saw a girl with a bob hair style with a blue bow and wearing a blue dress rush past us to get to fairy godmother

Hello, dear one. fairy godmother said

Hi. You need to sign off on early dismissal for the coronation. the girl said

Everyone here remembers my daughter, Jane? fairy godmother said as me and Mal shared a look

Mom, no! Jane said looking at us afraid

It's okay. Jane, this is everyone. fairy godmother said as she signed the form

Hi. That's okay, don't mind me. As you were. Jane said running out the door once her mother gave her back the clipboard

Me and Mal watched her leave as a idea started to form in our minds

Ahem. Let's continue. You find a vial of poison. Do you, A, put it in the king's wine? B, paint it on an apple? Or C, turn it over to the proper authorities? fairy godmother said bringing our focus back to the lesson

I watched as Jay's and Carlos's hand both went up at the same time  and naturally they both started fighting on who was gonna get called on

Oh! Ooh... get off. Carlos said

Jay. Fairy godmother said

C. You turn it over to the proper authorities. Jay said proudly knowing he got the answer right this time

I was gonna say that. Carlos said

But I said it first. Come here! Jay said as they started fighting again

Ow! Carlos said as Jay had him pinned

Come on, who said it first? Who said it first? Jay said as I started cheering Jay on and encouraging the fight

Ow! Stop! Ah! Carlos said

Boys. Boys! I am gonna encourage you to use that energy on the tourney field. and McKenna I'm gonna encourage you to join the cheer team fairy godmother said as we all stopped and looked at her like she was crazy

Oh, no. That's okay. Whatever that is, We'll... We'll pass. Carlos said

And yeah mostly definitely we are gonna pass I said

But much too my discomfort fairy godmother to meet to where cheer tryouts were while Ben took the boys to tourney

When we got the cheer field I saw that Audrey was a cheerleader as well and immediately was against this whole idea even more

Oh fairy godmother what a wonderful surprise. Audrey said sweetly

Hello dear. I've brought McKenna over so she can join the cheer team since you are down one girl since kai moved away last week fairy godmother said as Audrey looked at me with a forced smile

Oh how wonderful Audrey said her voice strained while fairy godmother smiled brightly

Great well I'll leave you girls too it. Fairy godmother said as she walked away

After she was gone completely I looked back at Audrey

Well it's been real but imma go find my sister i said as I began to walk away

"Wait!" Audrey said "as much as I hate you and your little friends we do need another girl on the team if you are to qualify for the cheer competition that's in Seabrook in a few months.

And what if I say no? I said

You don't have a choice. Audrey said

Says who? I asked

Says the person that knows you snuck out after curfew which that alone could get you sent back to the isle. Audrey said

Are you blackmailing me? I asked

Yeah. Now are you gonna join the team or do I have to have a nice little chat with fairy godmother? Audrey said as I glared at her

Fine. I'll join your stupid team. I said as she smiled

Great. Welcome to the cheer squad. Audrey said as I just rolled my eyes

This was gonna be a long day
