McKenna pov

I rode on the back of Ben's bike as he drove us to auradon prep.

Are u sure fairy godmother can tell me why I was spelled? I asked

I don't know but it's worth a shot. Ben said with a smile as I nodded and we made our way to fairy godmother's office where we saw Carlos leaving with a shocked expression on his face

Carlos? What happened? I asked as he looked at me confused

I should be asking you the same thing. What happened to your hair? Carlos said as I explained to him what happened at the enchanted lake

We are hoping that fairy godmother could shade some light on why McKenna was spelled. Ben said as Ben nodded

Want to come with? I asked

Sure. Carlos said as we went to into fairy godmother's office

And when she saw me she nearly hit the floor. 

Fairy godmother? Ben asked as she motioned for us to have a seat

It's time that I tell you about your results of your DNA test. You are not the daughter of maleficent. You are princess Aurora's and prince Philip's daughter. Fairy godmother said

What?!? You can't be serious?!? I said

I knew it! I knew you weren't dead Ben said as he hugged me

Hold it! This can not be true! I'm not princess Anastasia! the DNA has to be wrong. I said

I assure you McKenna DNA doesn't lie but if you do require more proof just look at your birth mark. It's identical to baby Anastasia's birth mark and you have the same necklace as baby Anastasia fairy godmother said as I sat in silence for a long time as I started slowly putting the pieces together

Maleficent stole me as a baby and passed me off as hers. I said as fairy godmother nodded

Well that explains a lot. I said

What do you mean? Ben asked as I took off his tourney jacket and my blue jacket reveling the bruises and burn marks from years of abuse by the hands of maleficent

I looked at them and saw Ben and   fairy godmother look at me with shock and horror while Carlos looked unfazed since he knew what it was like since cruella liked to beat him too

They didn't ask how or why because they already knew. Maleficent was the mistress of evil after all.

Oh god what was I gonna tell Mal? Did Mal already know? was that the reason she was so adamant that I wasn't princess Anastasia when we saw her picture in the museum? I asked myself

McKenna? Carlos asked as I looked at him

"I know this is a lot to take in but you don't have to go through it alone." Carlos said

How do you know that? I mean once Mal finds out she will hate me and Evie well she doesn't whatever Mal tells her sadly and I don't know about jay I said

"Because you're not the only kid that was stolen as a baby" Carlos said "I'm not the son of cruella de vil I'm the son of Anita and Roger Radcliffe"

Well that explains why she was so cruel to you. I said

Well her name is cruella it's right in her name. Carlos said

True. I said

Either way if Mal is gonna hate you for being Born an Auradonian then  she's gonna have to hate me too Carlos said as I smiled

"Thank you." I said as I looked back at fairy godmother

So what happens now? I asked

Well I've already told Queen Leah your grandmother that you were her granddaughter and she wasn't to thrilled and as far as I know Audrey doesn't know that you are her sister but seeing that you hair is back to its natural state and the fact that you share a room with her she will find out eventually. Fairy godmother said

And she won't be happy either trust me. Ben said

What about my parents? I asked

I called them but they are out of town until Ben's coronation and I highly doubt Leah told them what I told her so they don't know you are alive and are here in auradon. Fairy godmother said as I nodded

We can make an announcement on the news about your return. Ben said

No not yet. I want some time to take all this in before I get hounded by the press I said as Ben nodded

That's understandable. Ben said

But I think I should tell my friends about all this instead of them hearing about it on the news I said

Right and same for me. Carlos said as fairy godmother and Ben nodded
