Mckenna pov

Soon it was game time and I was currently with other cheerleaders cheering on the auradon knights to victory and I had to admit it was kinda fun

This is a nail-biter, folks. There's 47 seconds left on the clock. We're all tied up. The Sherwood falcons, two. The fighting knights, two. What a game between Auradon's fiercest rivals. The announcer said

Get 'em, Chad. Jay said

Thanks Jay Chad said as he went out on the field

The teams get into their huddles and take up positions along the kill zone. Akiho! The dragoneers have been laying down a withering hail of fire. The announcer said

You're up. The coach said looking at Jay

And now a substitution...The announcer said

Coach, how about my buddy here? Jay asked pulling Carlos up on to his feet

Oh, no. Not so sure about that. The coach said

Coach, he's been practicing. Jay said

Jay...Coach said

And you said yourself a team is made up of a bunch of parts. Jay said

Jay, I'm not that good. Carlos said

Well, he's kind of like my brain. Jay said

Come here! You heard him. Get out there! The Coach said letting Carlos play

Don't worry, bro. I got your back. Jay said to a nervous Carlos

How about my front? Carlos asked

Pfft. Get out there. Jay said as they went on to the field

He's bringing that hothead Jay in from the Isle of the Lost and that little guy Carlos can barely hold a shield. The announcer said

Break! The team said

When they break from their huddles, this is gonna be a big moment here. And the tipoff is ready. Here we go. Long pass goes to Jay. Jay dishes off to prince Ben. Nice little block by Carlos. He does a little dancing jig in his opponent's face. And now Jay gets the ball back.
Here comes Jay! Jay, hurdling maneuver at mid-field. The announcer said as me, Evie and Mal cheered for Jay and Carlos

I'm open! Ben said

"Jay makes a nice pass to Prince Ben through the kill zone. The announcer said "Big block by Chad! Prince Ben moves over wide, giving it back to Jay. He's in the clear! Shot!
Oh, what a save by Philip the Falcons' goalkeeper!

Come on! All right, all right, let's do it! Ben said

Come on, guys! Come on, hustle, hustle! The coach said

23 seconds left. You could cut the tension with a sword. The long ball is played by Jay. Jay, great jump, great leap. And a great move by Jay. Big block from Chad. Jay dishes off to Prince Ben. And then Carlos with a big block, goes down. Jay through the kill zone, picks up Carlos. Oh, he's being hammered by dragon fire. Still, going on. Jay, hurdling maneuver at mid-field. He's in the clear. The ball goes back to Jay. The announcer said

Hey, Jay! Carlos said getting Jay's attention

Carlos? Jay asked

Give it to ben! Carlos said

He passes to prince Ben. He scores! Prince Ben has won it! What an unselfish play by Jay! What a team! Incredible! And it's the new guys, Jay and Carlos, who set up the prince for the win here. What a victory! An absolutely wonderful end to one of the best games ever. Here they come, folks. The winners of the first tourn...The announcer said as ben  took the mic from him

Excuse me. Excuse me. Can I have your attention, please? There's something I'd like to say. Ben said as he had the cheer team and the audience spell out my name which is surprised me and Audrey

I love you, McKenna! Did I mention that? Ben said as Audrey pushed past me upset

Give me a beat! Whoo! Ben said

Uno, dos, tres, quatro! Doug said as the band started to play and Ben began to sing

I love you, McKenna! Did I mention that? Ben said as Audrey came over to us with Chad in tow and took the microphone from Ben

Chad's my boyfriend now! And I'm going to the coronation with him. So I don't need your pity date. Audrey said as she gave Chad a kiss and I looked over at Evie who was in the stands upset

Mckenna! Will you go to the coronation with me? Ben asked

Yes. I said

She said yes! Ben said as the crowd cheered

Let's go, Ben. The whole team's waiting for you. Jay said coming over to us

Yeah. Ben said

Bye I said as he left with Jay and I walked over to Evie

Don't say I told you so. Evie said

I'm not. I was just gonna say that I feel really sorry for Audrey. I said

You do? Evie asked

Yeah. I feel like if she were talented like you, and she knew how to sew and knew beauty tips, that she wouldn't need a prince to make her feel better about herself. I said as Mal nodded in agreement

I guess I am kind of talented. Evie said

You are definitely gifted. Mal said

Thanks guys Evie said as we looked over and saw Jay celebrating with the team

And there he is. Jay, the most valuable player. How do you like that? The announcer said

As I watched Jay and Carlos with the team and saw how happy they were and thought about  how Evie was learning that she wasn't just a pretty face and Mal embracing her artistic side I was starting not to want to steal the wand.

But I knew we didn't have a choice. If we failed we were goners
