The Call That Changes Everything

Chapter 6

" That was so much fun! " I throw my arms around the boys. We went back to their flat to have lunch and just chill. Hanging out with these guys, Jimmy, Eleanor & Perrie was so much fun! Harry and I decided to keep our little kiss to ourselves.. we didn't want word getting out. 

After lunch, Louis, Harry, Zayn, and Liam had to go talk to Brandon about something having to do with the upcoming record deal they might be doing. Eleanor and Perrie wanted to go shopping, so I stayed at the flat with Laura, Niall and Jimmy. Niall and Laura were in the game room, Jimmy and I could hear them screaming at each other from the living room where we were watching Phineas and Ferb.

" YOU'RE GOIN DOWN, NIALLER! "

" THINK TWICE ABOUT THAT, BABE!! "

I can't help but smile at how cute they sounded. Gosh dang it they'd make such a cute couple.. one of them just needs to grow a pair and tell the other how they feel. But I'm gonna let nature do her job and just watch what happens.

" I love this part! " Jimmy interrupts my thoughts. We're sitting on the couch together, he's become one of my good friends. I loved talking to him, he always had some random topic to talk about.

I guess I didn't notice that he had slowly scooted closer to me. I had my hand resting on my knee, sitting criss-cross apple sauce. Next thing I knew his hand was reaching over towards me. as soon as his fingers touch me, I snatch my hand away.

" ... What are you doing? "

" I just thought- " he was interrupted by the sound of a door slamming. I got up to go see who it was, but nobody was there. I go to the game room and Niall and Laura were still playing away, too busy to notice I was at the door. Maybe it was just one of the boys that forgot their wallet or something?

Hey, did one of you come home?

~From: Lou Boobear

Yeah, Haz ran back because he forgot something. Why, is everything okay?

I put down my phone. It was just Harry, not a robber or murderer or anything. Phew! I wonder why he didn't say hi or bye..

*HARRY'S P.O.V.*

Zayn forgot his wallet, so they had me drive back to go grab it since it was only a few minutes away. I got back in and was on my way to go say a quick hello, when something made me stop dead in my tracks. I stand at the doorway and watch as Jimmy slides closer to El, and she doesn't stop him. When he reaches for her hand my eyes start to sting with tears. I turn on my heels and march out the door. I mean I know they were close, I don't blame them. Jimmy was was a funny guy, but I thought they were just friends. I thought we had something special.

*EL'S P.O.V.*

I didn't know who to tell, but I needed to tell someone.

" Laura, can I talk to you for a second? " I peek my head in.

" Not now, I'm winning! " she responds. But with one look at my face, she can tell it's serious. " I have to go to the bathroom.. I'll be right back, " she ruffles Niall's hair as she walks over to meet me. I take her into the next room, which is one of the boy's bedrooms. From the guitars in the corner, I figure it's Niall's.

" What's going on? " she asks, starting to get worried.

" Jimmy.. I- I think he's trying to hit on me. He tried to hold my hand when we were watching tv. I'm kind of scared, Laura. " I run my hand through my hair.
