The Call That Changes Everything

Chapter 15

*HARRY'S P.O.V*

" It's beautiful.. " she gasped.

The lads and I had flown up to see El and talk her out of dropping the record deal. I didn't believe it when Brandon told us.. so I called Laura to be sure. Turns out, it was true.

When we got to her house, her mum greeted us each with a big hug and a welcoming smile. I had just given El her birthday present, which was a necklace with with a heart shaped locket on it. Inside the locket was a picture of us on top of the ferris wheel with fireworks going off in the background. For the past week, I had been stressing about what to get her. Lou and Liam tried to help me pick out something. She's so perfect, and I had to get her something ideally perfect. It was between the necklace and a ring, but I remembered her saying she doesn't really wear rings except for the purity ring she has, so I went with the necklace. It seemed to have done the job!

Everyone had silently left the room, leaving behind whispers and occasionally a few '' awe ''s. I took both of her hands in mine and intertwined our fingers. I loved how perfectly our hands fit together.. like she was made for me.

" You know, I've never felt this way about a girl before. " I stated as I looked into her shining, bright green eyes. Her cheeks turned a light shade of pink, causing a smile to form on my lips. I loved making her blush, it was so cute!

" Is that so? " she returned my gaze.

My smile grew larger, showing off my dimples. She quickly glanced at them then looked down, the corners of her mouth pulling into a grin. I removed my hands from hers and wrapped them around her waist, pulling her closer to me until any space between us was closed. She looked up at me with big eyes and bit her lip. Leaning my forehead on hers, I looked deep into her eyes.

" Yup, " I whispered, never looking away.I reached my lips down and right before I planted mine down on hers, I whispered one more thing. " That's so. "

I gave her a quick wink before I placed my lips on her soft, pink ones. I brought my hand up and cupped her cheek, leaving the other securely placed around her waist. With the hand on her face, I could feel her cheek become warm. I figured she was blushing, and I began to smirk. I loved making her blush..

*NIALL'S P.O.V.*

Everyone had left the room to give El and Harry some privacy. I still had feelings for El, and I don't know why. Who am I kidding, I bloody well know why! She's so beautiful and funny and unique and has such an amazing personality.. I wanted her so bad. But Harry was crazy about her. He hasn't gone to a club or invited any girls over since he met El, which is a big thing for him. Harry usually just wants to get with a girl so he can get in her pants, but there's something different this time.

" They are sooo adorable together! " Eleanor cooed, interrupting my thoughts.

" Yeah, they are a pretty cute couple. " Zayn agreed. I narrowed my eyes at him, because he knows I still like her. He's the only one that I told. Once he looked over at me, he quickly looked down and avoided eye contact.

I looked around the corner into the living room and peeked in on them. Harry had his arm wrapped around El, her arms drapped around the back of his neck. They were kissing, and they both had smiles pulling at their lips. I instantly felt jealous, and something in my stomach lurched. My heart felt like it was being torn apart and ripped to shreds. Something hitched in my throat as I watched  them. That should be me, not Harry. He doesn't deserve her.

*ZAYN'S P.O.V.*

About a week ago, Niall told me he still likes Elly. I could tell it was hard for him, because Ni would rather eat and sleep than go after a girl.. and he's been up tossing and turning some nights just thinking about her. I told him he needs to back off because she's Harry's, but it seems to be pretty hard for him. Haz and Niall hardly make eye contact with each other, much less speak to each other. I'm starting to get worried because soon enough our tour is starting.. and with the condition they're in.. it's going to be very interesting. I hate to admit it.. but the band seems to slowly be falling apart.
