*EL'S P.O.V.*

This was one of the hardest things I've had to do in my life so far. I loved all the people here.. but I was tearing their band and their friendships apart. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if this fight got any further. I hated having to do this, but I had to. It was the only option.

I layed quietly, motionless in bed. Everytime I looked over at the clock ticking on the wall, the seconds seemed to get longer and longer. Finally, the clock strikes 1:30 am, my flight was in 45 minutes. Silently, I open the bedroom door and peek down the hallway, making sure everyone was asleep. This time, I didn't want to risk getting caught. I heard faint snores coming from a few of the boys' rooms, the coast was clear. I grabbed my bags and slipped out the front door. As I entered the taxi, I looked back at the house that I'd never see again, along with five boys that've changed my life. I bite my lip to keep crying, but it doesn't work. A few tears make their way down my cold cheeks.

Stay strong.

I keep telling myself, it was the only option. No matter how many times I repeat it, my heart still breaks every minute.

We arrive at the airport quickly, but I didn't notice since I was lost in my thoughts. After tipping the driver, I make my way to the check in. The guard pointed out my gate, and with a friendly nod I started walking to where I was directed. I still had about 15 minutes, so I stopped by one of the little stores they have in the airport to buy a drink and a snack for the ride since it would be quite a few hours. I grab a bottle of Sprite, a bag of BBQ chips, and a pack of gum. As I was checking out, I quickly scan for a magazine I could purchase. I pick one out and throw it on the pile.

" Now boarding for flight back to Lincoln, Nebraska. "

That was my que. I give the cashier the money then head to the gate. Only a few people are around, and the line was very short. When it was my turn, I turned my head and looked over my shoulder, secretly hoping my Prince Charming would show up to take me back, and not let me leave. But of coarse, that didn't happen. This wasn't a fairy tale, this was reality.

After a good 20 minutes, they were finally getting ready to put the plane into motion. I turned off my phone and fastened my seatbelt. Pulling my knees up to my chest, I leaned my head against the seat and stared out the window as we started to take off. Soon enough, we were in the air.

" You may now turn on your electronic devices. " the overhead speaker announces.

I pull out my phone ( which is on airplane mode ) and plug in my ear buds. Putting the songs on shuffle, I look through my apps to see what I could do. Not much without wifi, so I decided I'd look through my pictures. My heart instantly drops. I see the pictures of Harry and I on our adventures. At the beach, during the bonfire, just hanging out in the living room. I see the smiles on our faces and the sparkles in our eyes. A tear gently rolls down the side of my face. I don't bother wiping it away, because deep down I know there's going to be a lot more to come. As I scrolled through, I see that Harry had taken some silly pictures of himself when I wasn't looking. Holding my hand over my mouth, I can't help but giggle at some of the faces he was making. I get to one picture that he must've taken.. it was one where we were kissing, a smile on both of our faces. My heart starts aching and the scattered tears turn into a river. I didn't want people to see me, so I turn to look out the window as I try to sniffle quietly.

Suddenly an idea hits me. I pull out my magazine and start flipping through the pages. 50 Quick and Easy Hair Styles for Women. This one could be useful, I enjoyed doing my hair. I started looking through the pictures and tutorials, slowly forgetting about my aching heart. After going through about half of the magazine, I feel my eyes start to droop. Grabbing a blanket out of my suit case, I pull it up to my chin and lay my head back. Soon enough, I'm fast asleep.
