*Ivy*
When I woke up I felt a strong arm wrapped around me. I turned my head around and looked at Charles next to me. He was still peacefully sleeping. A smile slipped over my lips. He looked very cute while sleeping and still really handsome. My head was hurting a little but I tried to ignore it. I wanted to enjoy this moment so I closed my eyes again and snuggled even closer to Charles. Suddenly the thought of last night came back to my mind. It was such a messed up night. I'll definitely leave it out when telling dad about my week. How could I've been so stupid to go alone? In the end Charles saved me but it still had an effect on me.
I felt Charles moving next to me and opened my eyes again. He was smiling. "Good morning, Ivy", he softly said. "Good morning, Charles", I smiled at him. He turned around to me. There wasn't much space left between us now. I knew he wanted to kiss me and I did too but it was all so new. My last relationship ended just three days ago. I knew Charles wasn't the cheating type and I trusted him but still there was this thought that it could happen again. "Did you sleep well?", he asked putting my hair behind my ear. "Very good. You?", I answered. "Like a baby", he smiled. "How's your head?" "Still hurting a little but it's getting better", I said. "Do you want to get breakfast? I know a good café", Charles asked. "Breakfast sounds good", I smiled.
We both got out of bed. My gaze felt to Charles naked upper body. He must spent a lot time working on it. His abs were defined. "Like what you see?", he asked and smiled. I blushed because he caught me staring. "Yep", I said getting up. He grinned. "Can I have some clothes from you? I don't want to wear my dress", I asked him. He looked a little surprised. "Sure. What do you want? Comfy clothes?", he asked scanning through his wardrobe. "Depends on what dress code we decide on", I meant. "Let's decide on comfy clothes then. Joggers and a T-shirt?", he asked and I nodded. I loved wearing his clothes. They were too big for me, of course, but they smelt amazing and were so comfy. He gave me a pair of blue joggers, a white T-shirt and the Ferrari sweatshirt he gave me the night we met. "I know it's your favourite one", he said as he gave it to me. I smiled. Then I went into the bathroom to get changed.
"Ready?", Charles asked. I nodded. Shortly after we left the apartment. The way to the café wasn't long so we walked there. It was a warm spring morning. "Monaco is so beautiful", I said as we were walking down the street. "I know. It was nice growing up here", Charles said and smiled at me. A few seconds later some fans came to us and asked Charles for a picture. They looked at me disgusted and scanned me up and down. I felt ugly right away. I knew I wasn't looking that nice. The makeup from last night was still on my face and my hair probably looked messy but did I really look that ugly? "She doesn't deserve him. Look at her", I heard a girl whispering to her friend. I started to feel sad. "Who is that? She's not even pretty. She's too ugly for him", another girl said.
Charles seemed to have noticed it and stopped taking pictures or giving autographs. He put his hand on my back and guided me through the crowd. "No, sorry", he said when the girls were asking for a picture. We walked further down the street. I felt very uncomfortable and incredibly ugly. "I'm so sorry", Charles said to me softly. "No, it's okay", I simply said and managed to fake a smile. Tears were shimmering in my eyes. I could feel that.
*Charles*
"She's too ugly for him", I heard a girl in the crowd around me saying. I felt anger rising up in me and looked at Ivy who stood next to me. Her smile had faded and she was looking down at her feet. I knew she was taking it personal. She looked incredibly sad. It annoyed me that my fans were making her feel like this so I stopped taking pictures and put my hand on her back. She winced a little which worried me. I guided her through the crowd and ignored the fans asking me for pictures. "I'm so sorry", I said to her softly after we managed to leave the crowd behind us. "No, it's okay", she answered and smiled. I knew it wasn't a honest smile. There were tears shimmering in her eyes. She had gone though so much last night and not even now she could feel happy. I gently put my hand on her back and stopped her. She looked at me with watery eyes. "It's not okay, Ivy. I know you're not feeling good", I said to her. Her lips were trembling like she was having a hard time holding back her tears. I felt guilty. I didn't want her to feel
ugly because she was the most beautiful woman I've seen. I opened my arms for her to fall into them. She looked around before she did and started to sob. "Please don't cry, Ivy. You're too
pretty to cry", I said to her softly while covering her face as good as possible. I knew she didn't want anyone to see her crying. After she had stopped crying I lifted up her chin and wiped away the black rests from her mascara. "Don't listen to them, Ivy. You're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen", I told her and could see a smile on her face. "Really?", she asked with a smile on her face. "Yes", I grinned and nodded. She hugged me tightly and whispered "Thank you, Charlie" to me. I smiled at her calling me that. "Wanna get breakfast now?", I asked and she nodded. We kept walking and reached the café not long after.
