Arthur lays down on his bed and looks at his phone. No message from Oscar.

U: I hope you're okay. Sleep well and I love you ❤️

Arthur puts his phone back next to him and sighs. He rolls over to his side and grabs his pillow, which he closes between his arms and squeezes it close to him.

He doesn't like how closed Oscar has become. How close they were, how little time they spend together now. They always tried to be together, even if it was just for one day. When they were not together, they always had text contact or called them all evening.

And now? Arthur hears nothing from him. No messages and no phone calls.

The little time he had cuddling with Oscar today was so helping for Arthur. This year is already hard for him and it's only the beginning. This year could get worse or maybe better. Who knows? But right now, he needs Oscar. He just wants to cuddle, they don't have to talk, Oscar can read his data while Arthur lies there and doesn't talk. Everything will be better than this.

He wants to fall asleep in Oscar's arms, feel his body against his own and their arms wrapped around each other. Feeling Oscar's breathing on his neck, mumbling to each other some words while they lie in silent for the rest of the time.

He doesn't need much, he just needs Oscar.

Arthur feels bad enough that he's already thinking about where he's racing next year, since he knows that this isn't going to work out. He won't be enough and he is getting old now, so why spend your time on a waste driver?

Or surname with how many people call him...

He wants to be enough, for his family, for racing, for his team, for race fans, for Oscar.

He will never be enough, for nothing or no one.

Maybe Oscar is right, maybe he wouldn't survive without his family. He loves having his brothers around him, he loves being close to Oscar, he's a paddock further away. He can all lose that because of his own mistakes.

He makes too many mistakes in the car. Charles always tells him that he makes them because he's still learning. He didn't have a karting career, so he's still learning everything that other drivers already know about their driving style. Arthur doesn't have his own driving style, it's different every time. Then he has a good race and then he's shitty.

He will never be like Charles. He will never make it in Formula 1...

"Are you asleep?" Arthur looks up when Charles pushed the door further open.

"No, I'm not." Says Arthur and lay back down. He feels the bed sink in next to him, his back was towards Charles, who sat down.

"Are you okay?" Ask Charles and Arthur stares in front of him.

No. "Yes." Says Arthur but doesn't turn around.

"Lorenzo told me."

"Told you what?"

"What you said in the car, with Oscar." Says Charles and Arthur signs.

"He just wants space, nothing wrong with that." Says Arthur.

"But you need him now, no?" Arthur feels how Charles rubs his arm up and down.

"No. I'm okay."

"Tur, I know how much you missed him and you were so happy that you had time to spend the nights with him again." Sign Charles.

"Maybe, but I respect it that he needs some time to think. This season isn't easy for him."

"It isn't easy for you either, and you need him. Why doesn't he need you?"
