Chapter 11

Oscar wakes up in Logan's arms and he presses himself closer. He slept terribly. He didn't hear anything after Lorenzo informed him that they were back in the hotel, that Arthur was talking but he's really tired. Oscar grabs his phone and sighs when he sees no notification.

He wants to know how Arthur is doing right now. Did he sleep? Is he feeling okay? Will he be racing today?

No he won't. His body would be too tired.

"Oscar." Whispers Logan, and Oscar looks up when he feels a hand through his hair.

"I can feel you thinking right here." Says Logan, and Oscar places his head next to Logan on the pillow.

"I want this weekend to be over already." Says Oscar, and then lays his head against Logan's neck.

Thinking about how he promised Arthur that they would go away together next week. And now he isn't even sure if they will continue that, because Arthur needs to rest. And eat, he needs to eat and Oscar isn't ready to have those fights with him, or his brothers.

Because there is no way that Charles or Lorenzo agree with Oscar taking Arthur around Monaco and France. They would want to see their brother to make sure that everything is okay with him.

And the last thing Oscar wants is to be twenty four seven in one house with Charles. He's okay with Lorenzo, but I don't know, he and Charles never clicked. From the beginning, Charles wasn't happy that he and Arthur started dating. He didn't think that I would be good for Arthur while not even knowing me. And he kept having this opinion.

Well, Oscar hasn't done his best to make himself look good in Charles's eyes either. He did not know what Arthur had been through and therefore, he did not understand why his older brothers were so protective of the younger boy. Charles always had to know where Arthur was, otherwise he would text.

Oscar couldn't take him anywhere before Charles was there again. It was so annoying. He had already heard Charles ask Arthur a few times if he is happy and whether it would not be better to break up with Oscar.

Oscar never felt so mad when he heard that through the door.

"Oscar, you're pinching me." Says Logan and when Oscar snaps out of it and let go, Logan grabs his hand and intertwines their fingers.

"I'm sorry." Says Oscar, when he looks at the red skin on Logan's arm.

"You weren't squeezing so hard, but it wasn't comfortable." Laughs Logan and grabs Oscar's face in his fingers and presses a kiss against his lips.

"Tell me what's going on in that head of yours." Says Logan, and Oscar looks at him.

"It's about Arthur, and I know you don't like talking about him, so we better not."

"Hey, I am maybe not a fan of Arthur. But I never wish for something like this. Health is so important and I feel really sorry for him. I have seen how hard an eating disorder can be. I would never wish that on anyone, Liam was broken, and I hated to see him like that." Says Logan, and his grip on Oscar tightens.

"So tell me, because talking will help you too."

"I feel so bad for lying to his brother. We could stop this, but no, I kept my mouth shut. I was protecting him the wrong way. I had to help him with his brother, not thinking that I could fix Arthur and the eating issue. I could prevent Arthur from collapsing."

"You couldn't. If he was lying to you and his brothers about the eating, then no one could prevent that from happening." Says Logan.

"But still, I knew that he was lying to his brothers. Like yesterday on the phone, he said to Charles that he had eaten with me but would still go to the restaurant to talk with them. But to me, he said that he would eat with them and send me a picture of Charles his food, and said he was eating that. How could I have fallen for that? He was literally the night before that, sobbing in my arms because he had eaten. I'm so stupid ." Says Oscar.
