"What are you doing here?" Asks Charles when he sees Oscar walking in the medical centre.

"I want to see Arthur, please. It is that I couldn't come last night. I want to be here for him." Say's Oscar.

"He doesn't want to see you."

"He doesn't want me to see him like this, with a tube through his nose. I get that he feels insecure about what happened, about this tube. But I don't care Charles, I just want to see him." Says Oscar and looks at Charles.

"Why didn't you tell us about him not eating?" Asks Charles.

"Because I didn't understand the problem at first. I thought I could help him and that it wasn't such a big deal. But it was, and I was wrong about not telling you. But I tried to get him eating. I tried to protect him and I failed." Says Oscar and runs a hand through his hair.

"When he was sobbing on my shoulder the night before yesterday. I knew that something wasn't right, like how can you be so upset that you have eaten? I looked up eating disorders and I want to do anything to help him, to be there for him if he needs me. When he sent me that picture of the salad yesterday, I really thought he had eaten that. I didn't think a second about it that he would be lying. I was so proud of him and thought that maybe he did want to help himself." Says Oscar and Charles lead Oscar to a chair that they sit on.

"When Arthur was 16, he got an eating disorder. Nobody saw, nobody noticed. A year later, our papa died and he only got worse but we weren't looking at him. We lost our father, our Maman lost her man. We didn't notice that Arthur wasn't eating or when he did, that he would throw it all back up later when we thought he was showering." Says Charles, and Oscar looks at the floor.

They never told him the story about Arthur, they didn't want to talk about it. Wait no. Arthur didn't want that and his family respected that.

"How did you find out?" Whispers Oscar and looks up at Charles, who looks at him with tears in his eyes.

"Maman was away with friends, Lorenzo was at Uni. I was away for a race. He was home alone. I came back on Monday, and he didn't open the door and I had my own keys, but I thought it was easier because he could help me with the stuff. He didn't open the door so I thought he was gone to somewhere. So I took my own keys from my suitcase. I found him later in the hall upstairs." A tear rolls down on Charles his cheek and he brushes it off.

"I called him, maybe he was upstairs with his earphones in. When I looked above,  I saw a foot. I ran upstairs and saw him passed out on the floor with a big head wound. The blood had already dried up, same for the blood on Arthur's head too, the blood had stopped and all dried up. Everything was under, the floor, his clothes, his face and hair. I called for an ambulance and they picked him up and brought him to the hospital." Says Charles and Oscar saw him make a fist with his hand.

"Through the camera images in the living room, we found out that he had been lying there since Saturday evening. He had then walked out of the living room for the last time and after that he had not been in the living room. We have one in the living room for burglaries or if something happens. People know our address and it was safer."

"He's been there almost two days?" Asks Oscar and Charles nods.

"It's so bad." Whispers Charles and then grabs his phone. He goes to his album and scrolls down a lot. He stopped after what felt like ages. And he showed Oscar a picture of Arthur and his heart stopped.

Arthur was lying in the hospital bed, wires hanging around him, he had an oxygen mask on his face and a tube through his nose.

"He went into a coma due too low blood sugar. He was malnourished, he weighed nothing. They hoped that the feeding tube could save his life. That was the only thing that could save him. They said that we were on time. Maybe if I came home a day later, he would have died from malnutrition." Says Charles and Oscar is still looking at the picture.
