As for the Gryffindor party as well, there is an ambience video for the Wattpad users, Slytherin Common Room Party vibes this time. Enjoy :)

"I guess we both chose the wrong person to attend the Ball with." Samantha stood behind Ominis, her eyes assessing the Slytherin couple on the dance floor, smiling at each other in admiration. Gaunt looked over his shoulder, the direction where the Ravenclaw's voice came from, rather unclear for his sightless eyes. "What do you mean?" - "Well you couldn't possibly see but Sebastian and Amaya were devouring each other in that dance. They seem like being this close to one another is almost familiar to them." Samantha wrinkled her nose for a moment before getting a hold of her various sky blue layers of fabric, dashing through the crowd to get back what was hers. "Sebastian. Dance with me?" She stopped when she reached the representative couple, eyeing both of them up and down, Sebastian's hand slowly letting go of his queen to retreat. "Of course." The wizard stretched a hand out for his date to take as Samantha glanced at Amaya, almost glowering at her. "I bet you have someone waiting for you as well, don't you?" With that, the couple disappeared in between the masses that also made their way onto the dance floor, various colors sweeping over the marble, his green suit nowhere to be seen anymore. "What a wrench... Can't stand to not be the center of attention for longer than five fucking minutes." Amaya rolled her eyes with a sigh, slowly making her way back to the black tables she left Ominis at, his thumb and index finger twirling one of those crystalline cups in his hand. "Wish I could have seen that dance. The people seemed very captivated by you." He turned as soon as he sensed her approach, a small smile appearing on his lips, his hand outstretched to offer her the cup with refreshment. "Thank you." She smiled back at him, taking the cup to take a sip, the beverage like a salvation to her dry throat and exhausted limbs.

"I didn't know you were top of Flying Class." One of his arms rested upon the table, a casual lean, as he looked at his date. "Well, that's because you don't attend Flying Class Ominis." She smiled and set the cup back down, looking around the room, but no one in particular caught her eye. "Probably because my impairment makes me look like a helpless purple toad in the desert... But I do know how to dance at least." Ominis offered the Slytherin witch his hand, Amaya taking it with a grin. "Let's see what you've got then." She helped the wizard navigate to a rather open space upon the dance floor, the rhythmic notes of a casual fiddle echoing through the Great Hall as his hands got a hold of her waist, pulling Amaya close. "Do you mind me asking you something?" His voice was quiet as he lead her through some casual steps, the witch furrowing her eyebrows for a moment. She knew what might be on his mind... "Of course. Ask away." Ominis let go of her for a second, spinning the witch around before leading her back into their casual movements. "Some time ago, Sebastian said something and I didn't mind the thought until today..." Ominis eyes were fixed somewhere behind her, a deep breath seeping into his lungs before he gazed down. "Did you spend the night with him? After our trip to the scriptorium?" The guilt that has been threading webs around her heart suddenly tightened with his words. "I'm sorry, that's not an appropriate question. I'm just wondering... You despised Sebastian until a few days ago. What changed? Are you two on good terms again?" - "It's rather complicated... But I guess you could call it being on good terms with each other." The sigh that escaped the wizard made her look up at him, his lashes covering his eyes as he seemingly watched their feet.

"I was a fool to think that-" He cut himself off, not daring to speak his thoughts out loud. "No... Ominis. You are not a fool. I am if I ever gave you the impression that I wanted more than just a friendship with you. I am sorry. Deeply sorry." It took a moment for the wizard to comprehend her words, his head lifting with a small smile. It was heartbreaking but also heartwarming. "I would love to call you my friend Amaya. And if I ever have to see you with Sebastian it might just be the best option besides me, considering what kind of buffoons walk these hallways sometimes." The witch laughed, wrapping her arms around Ominis neck to pull him in for a hug. Not a sensual hug but one full of gratitude for everything they have lived through together and still being able to talk this freely and without judgement. She knew the two Slytherin wizards weren't on good terms but Ominis still went out of his way to grant Sebastian the luck of whatever laid ahead. "Thank you..." - "Always." They continued their dance as the tune suddenly increased its tempo, the sound of a village fiddle celebrating their yearly autumn harvest feast filling the Hall, Cressida's red curly head appearing in Amaya's peripheral vision. "You better move those feet or you'll be left behind!" The Gryffindor laughed, pulling random students with her to build a chain, crossing the dance floor with laughter and quick dance steps. Riva giggled as Garrett and her passed the two Slytherins, grabbing onto her friend to pull them with her, the chain of people just growing with each second that passed. "Oh god..." Ominis murmured, his hand holding onto Amaya's for dear life as the human snake moved through the Hall, whoever was leading it, drawing circles over the marble with their steps. On the way they picked up Poppy and Natty, their faces flushed from moving so much, bright smiles beaming at everyone around them. Students of each house, pulling others in, no matter if they were friends or strangers, the yelp of Samantha reaching Amaya's ears as her and Sebastian joined the end of the chain dancing through the Hall, their eyes meeting for a brief second before Cressida magically crossed their paths with multiple students behind her, dancing and laughing.
