Sebastian was surprisingly silent at breakfast as Ominis told him about his night with Taryn Soughter back at the Gryffindor Common Room Party. He seemingly had a lot of fun and Sallow would dare to say he did or would have at least if it hadn't been for Natsai Onai. "By Merlin, Sebastian I am talking to you!?" Ominis kicked his friend's legs under the table, forcing the fellow Slytherin to look up at him. "What's going on with you? Jealous because you didn't bring someone to your rooms for once?" Ominis continued to eat his pumpkin pie as Sebastian ran his hands over his face wearily not wanting to spend another second thinking about last night. "I'm not in the mood." - "Oh god then it must have been bad, whoever you were with." He didn't have a single clue... Why was Ominis assuming everything when Sebastian just said he didn't want to talk about it. "No, it was intoxicating Ominis and that is the problem. So please stop acting like you know everything about me for once and shut up." He couldn't help the rage that escaped him since it's been flooding his body for every single second he's been awake for today. How could he have let it go so far? What got into him to show her, that he was as much affected by her as she obviously was by him? "Gods, leave then. I don't need a sulking mess at my table for breakfast just because Mister Sallow didn't have everything going his preferred way for once." Ominis didn't even look at him as he just kept shoveling pie into his mouth, waiting for the second Slytherin to leave. "Unbelievable..." Sebastian shook his head in disbelief before getting up and leaving the Great Hall without even touching any of his food.
Amaya knew she promised Natty to meet her at breakfast but as soon as she woke up and saw the letter from Professor Fig, wanting to see her because of what he found out, there was no time to waste. Even if she was scared about everything that's been happening the past few days, there was no way around having to learn what her powers actually meant and why it was important enough to send them to Gringotts for it and have Ranrok and Rookwood go after it.. As soon as she entered Professor Figs office she already saw him leaning over his table, inspecting a map before locking eyes with her at Amaya's entry. "Professor, I'm glad to see you." It's been some time since they parted ways in the Central Hall her first day here at Hogwarts. He had to be particularly busy. "And I you. Thank Merlin you're in one piece. I heard about the attack..." His voice lowered a little as if he could be watched or someone could be eavesdropping on their conversation. "Trolls - in Hogsmeade?" Amaya let loose the sigh she's probably been holding in since the attack, thankful someone who actually understood how bad this was and what it meant finally talked to her about it. "Sir.. the Trolls were wearing armor. It had that dark glow, like the dragon collar." The memory of Fig's friend George being ripped apart by that dragon midair was still vividly replaying in her mind. She couldn't help but feel responsible for his death, if the dragon was sent by Ranrok the same way the Trolls were sent by him in an attempt to capture her.
"Goblin silver... Ranrok used it to control the dragon." Professor Fig folded his hands in front of him, his thoughts drifting off to analyze everything they've encountered and learned so far. "But how? And why send trolls to-" He didn't get to finish as Amaya interrupted him, the guilt still possibly eating her alive. "They were there because of me...They were all endangered because of me Professor." She ran her hands through her hair in an attempt to steady herself the way Sebastian steadied her yesterday, but it almost felt impossible to get a grip right now. "I overheard Ranrok talking with Victor Rookwood."
The furrowed eyebrows that formed on the Professors forehead already told a story of their own. "Ranrok was in Hogsmeade? With Rookwood?" That's what she just said, yes but she wasn't going to repeat it. Obviously he was just as surprised as she was about it all. It just took Fig a little longer to put the pieces together. "The trolls were Ranrok's distraction to get to me..." The fear that followed her since that fight in Hogsmeade got a hold of her heart again, forming a lump in her throat. That wouldn't stop her from telling Professor Fig everything she knew. Not some stupid anxiety just because of a man with an incredibly ugly hat and a love for theatrics. "A distraction so that Rookwood could get to me. And he would have - had Sirona and the patrons at the Three Broomsticks not intervened." A deep sigh and apologetic looks exchanged between the two for a moment before Professor Fig found the right words to say.
