It has been an incredibly long time since I wrote anything for this story. Are there still people who are interested in this? There were some requests for new chapters here and there and I am terribly sorry it took me so long. For everyone who is still here, thank you. Truly.

Enjoy <3

7 hours before sunrise

All day – All night. She's been gone for too long... Sebastian turned in his sheets, watching the green canopy above with wary eyes. Something was wrong, he could feel it. Maybe he was freaking out and Amaya was fine but for some inexplicable reason, he was sure of his assumptions. Something happened to her. She wouldn't be gone for such a long time without at least letting one single person know. Naturally Riva, to his distaste. But even Merrill didn't know anything about her best friend's whereabouts. To Sallow it seemed like she just vanished. Gone from the face of earth within a blink. Sebastian turned again, his sheets and duvet rustling in the silence of night. "For Salazar's sake, stop moving Sebastian!" Ominis sighed in a defeated manner, sitting up in his own bed at the opposite side of the room. He's been listening to his friend turning in restless circles for at least an hour and it got on his nerves. "Can you just sleep?!" Sallow sat up at that, fists clenching onto the fabric of his covers.

"No Ominis. I cannot."

The blonde Slytherin sighed at that. sitting up as well, rubbing his eyes with the heels of his palms. "What is it then? Are you having nightmares again?" Ominis looked over to where he assumed Sebastian to be with a lazy gaze, his thoughts evolving around sleep and how many hours they had left before having to get back up. "I don't even have to fall asleep to experience a nightmare Ominis. Everything has been a complete and utter wrack lately. I can't concetrate, I can't think sttraight or do anything without being distracted. I always expect the worst to happen and I can't fucking shut it off." Sebastian hid his face in his hands to take a deep breath in an attempt to calm his nerves. Omins' eyebrows furrowed at that, before he slowly got up to stride over to his best friends bed. "It's because of her isn't it?" Ominis sat down on the edge of Sallow's matress, eyes fixed upon the darkness of their shared dormitory.

"Mostly... Ominis she has been gone for far too long and it seems like I am the only one who cares. And I don't even want to care. I want to give a fuck but... I just can't." He sighed, rubbing his face in disbelief and agony, facing his friend after a while. "Why? Why am I like this?"

"I know this has to be rather unfamiliar to you, but to me it sounds like you fell in love. It captures your mind every single second of the day and every single breath at night. Of course you worry more than we do, considering you care much more about Amaya than we do." Sebastian watched the fibers in his blanket, contemplating his best friends words. It made sense, he had to give him that, but he couldn't quite admit it yet. He wasn't ready.

"I just want to make sure she's fine. Alive. That's all I need Ominis." The blonde Slytherin nodded at that, fully able to understand Sebastian's concerns in the light of this new situation. "We'll skip classes tomorrow and look for her. Ask people whether they have seen Amaya anywhere around the castle or Hogwarts Valley." Sebastian shook his head rather manically, getting ahold of his best friend's hand.

"Now Ominis. I have a feeling something happened... We need to go now and seize every minute we get until we fucking find her." There was silence for a minute, forcing Sebastian to think he was alone again. Like no one cared...

"I'll get the others. The more people we are, the better. Get dressed, this will be a cold and long search." Ominis said as he stood up, walking back to his bed to get ahold of his robe, shoes and wand. "Just don't be manic about it. We are trying to help and you've been rather harsh to all of them for some time." The blonde boy sighed and left their shared dorm with no further goodbye, forcing Sebastian to think about what he said.
