JULIE NEVER THOUGHT THAT SHE WOULD BE RUNNING AWAY FROM RAVKA. But yet here she was, hurriedly stuffing clothes into a bag not caring if nothing was folded. A crawling feeling coated her skin. That was new. She paused and quickly deducted that it was due to the rain.

A few minutes ago, she had been able to stand in the rain with no problem and now she wanted to rip off her skin just to get rid of the feeling. Tears rolled down her cheeks which only added to the sickening feeling that had grown inside of her. She dropped whatever clothes she had been holding and began to scratch away at her skin. It would make more sense to find a towel and try herself off but that didn't cross her mind in her current panicked state.

"Get off. Get off. Get off. Get off." She mumbled the two words over and over as more tears fell down her cheeks. A frustrated groan left her lips.

Julie felt like she was cursed.

She wanted to curl up in a ball and hide away but she couldn't. Not when her father laid dead in their garden and she had been the one to take his life. She had to leave. She hurriedly packed the clothes that she had dropped onto the floor. After doing so, she quickly moved to her closet and dug out a cloak. It covered her completely and even had a hood which would stop the sickening feeling from rising again when she ventured out into the rain.

She should have gotten rid of the body but she didn't have time. She needed to leave now. The more she lingered here, the more she was at risk. Though, burying his body would buy her more time but it wasn't worth it. She didn't have a plan fully formed in her head but she knew that she had to get away from Ravka. She pulled the hood over her head and rushed out the front door.

In a sick way of thinking, she figured that they were lucky that they lived secluded from the liveliness of the town that was a mere ten minute walk away. It had been just the two of them living in that cottage for her whole life. It was the only home she knew. Aside from the Little Palace.

Julie weaved in and out of the trees as she hurriedly tried to expand on her plan. Ketterdam seemed like a good place to hide. She thought to herself. She doubts that anyone would go looking for her there.

So, Ketterdam it was.
