-The Cat Came Back Again-

"Crap." Mitch growled getting up from the couch
Miko still sat down, staring blankly, her face red as beat, unsure of whatever just interrupted her confession was a blessing or a curse
"What." she snapped out of it "What happened?"
"Bloody power just went out..." Mitch looked around
"The power went out?" she asked
"Obviously," the blonde said "Why else would we be stuck in the dark?"
Miko looked over at the TV, her heart rate slowing back down
"Well, least you get a generator." Miko looked to him
"Yeah good point alright now," Mitch nodded "I'll be right..." he stopped when he walked into the kitchen
"Back..." he stayed still staring off as if he'd seen a ghost
"What?" Miko walked into the kitchen with him, her jaw dropped
In the kitchen was a trail of blood leading from the door now open, all the way into the living room making the reason clear why the boy was so disturbed, that being because
Something was in the house, something bloody...
"Mitch..." Miko tapped her friend's back, the two jumped hearing a yowl all the way to Mitch's room, lighting then flickered causing the large trail of fresh blood to glow for a split second revealing the creature had made it's way to his bedroom
What in the world he just let into his house?
"It's in my room..." Mitch said aloud
"Yeah but what is it?" Miko asked frantically looking around,
"I don't know, but it sounds like cat." Mitch replied
"What? Why would a random cat come crawling into your house?"
The two then heard noise outside the door, the noise being less menacing but more softer and high pitched like a kitten meowing, but what on earth could a kitten be doing around his house?!
Mitch quickly realized something, "Wait a minute..." he though to himself
At first the blonde wasn't certain but then it started to make since, The cat! The cat he had fed once, the cat that started to come to his home everyday, that had gotten bigger and bigger each time he seen it, the one that always tried to get into his home, it made since now...
"Oh no."
The girl looked to him stumped "What is it? It is bad!?"
The blonde grabbed her shoulders and pulled her towards him and looked her in the eye
"Miko, I need you to do me a favor and look outside and find out where that noise was coming from."
