After what had happened yesterday, Mitch ended up having to stay home for the rest of the weekend, because not only did his leg have to heal officially, but also there was apparently a store policy that said that techs that had been possessed by glitches had to stay at home, so they could take a breather after the situation (and yeah normally Phil would ignore this, but he had already been in hot water enough already...)

So once more Miko and Mitch hadn't gotten to talk with each other, however that didn't mean there story was over just yet,

The next weekend when Mitch walked through the portal to HQ everyone welcomed him with open arms

"Welcome back Mitch!" shouted the blonde's coworkers, Boss, and BITT crowding him

"Guys!" he said surprised "What's with the warm welcome?"

"What do you mean what's with the warm welcome?" Zahra asked, wrapping her arm around his shoulder, "You've been gone for a whole week!"

"Aw come on now, I wasn't gone for too long, there's no need to be so giddy about me coming back." Mitch replied to her

"Dude you nearly died last week," Haneesh said "I think we have a right to be giddy about you coming back to work."

"Yeah! We missed you man." Nix declared

"You guys missed me?" Mitch asked his tone changing,

"We sure did!" Bergy chimed in

"Yup, even Haneesh was missing you." Five said

Mitch looked to them stumped then to Haneesh

"I wouldn't say miss, but it definitely wasn't the same without you." Haneesh admitted awkwardly

Mitch continued looking at them stumped, he couldn't believe it, they missed him! They all missed him, even Haneesh! He wouldn't have believed any of them would have missed him in a million years after all he's done, not Zahra, not Haneesh, not Nix, Bergy Five and especially not wait...

Where the heck was Miko?

Mitch then noticed in the crowd of his coworkers, (friends?) Was the unusually quiet purple haired girl

Miko quickly noticed him looking at her, she waved with a shy smile, Mitch smiled back to her

"Alright now, putting the wellcome party out of the way," Phil interrupted, "You all need to get back to your missions for the day,"

The techs while they didn't want to agreed, did so without there usual groans of annoyance or pleads,

"You too mister," Phil said "I bet you're ready to get back to work."

"Oh my God you have no idea." Mitch replied

And so Mitch went back to his solo missions, blasting glitches, getting Xp and defeating bosses like a boss, all the things that he oh so missed doing on his time off

Mitch shot the final blast on a dragon glitch, it roared as it blown into smithereens and back into it's glitch form, he walked over and collected the glitch
