-Denial Melts Away To Realization-
After Mitch got home, the poor boy was having to set up a pile of blankets on the couch and floor for his siblings
Apparently the reason why the three had showed up to his house was because there generator had just so happened to go out before the power outage and since they didn't want to fall asleep without air conditioning or move around there very large home without lights and they also had a brother who did have power, they decided to go to his house, and he couldn't be any more annoyed
Mitch lied on his couch trying to tune out the sound of his brothers roughhousing in the kitchen trying to keep himself calm out of fear that they'd break something if he shouted at them
"So bruv, this weather's crazy, yeah?" his sister said "You know some of our followers on Twitter said their electricity went out too?"
"No Audrey I didn't know that, just like I didn't know you three would be crashing at my place either." Mitch said
"Oh come on bruv, you know how stuffy that house gets without air conditioning, besides we thought you'd be here." Audrey said "I mean it was bloody 10 o'clock."
"So? you stay up way later than that."
"Yeah but I'm used to it, besides you're always up about your tight sleep schedules and all that jazz, what were you doing out that late anyway?" Audrey asked causing Mitch to blush
"Driving a friend home." he said the events of that night rushing through his head once more
"Friend huh?" Audrey asked, "you haven't had a friend over since that time Zahra came over a few years back."
"Yeah yeah it's a shock to all of us." Mitch said
"What'd you two do?" Audrey asked "Must've been a lot considering how late you dropped 'em off."
Mitch contemplated, should he tell her? Out of all his siblings she seemed to be most trustworthy
"Well I started by inviting her over for video games." Mitch began
Audrey's eyebrows widened by hearing
"It went well, but then the power went out and then I noticed the door was open and I found a ca-."
RREEEEAAOOOOOOOOOOWWWW!
A loud commotion was heard off in Mitch's bedroom followed by his brother's panic
"OH GEEZ!" Speck was heard
Mitch's cat ran out from the room and slid under the desk
"WHAT IS GOING ON!?" Mitch said standing up
"BRUV YOU DIDN'T TELL US YOU GOT YOURSELF A PET!" Ruf shouted peaking through his bedroom door
"Or a family of kitties!" Speck was heard "Look at those little pussycats!"
"DO NOT TOUCH THEM!" Mitch yelled stomping to his room "AND GET OUT OF MY ROOM!"
