"Oh, do you have to go now?" Lee asked sadly
"Unfortunately," Mitch said "Sorry little fella."
Mitch was outside the door, while Miko and Lee we're saying there goodbyes
"Can you come back another day and play doggy dragon with us ever again?" Lee asked
"Perhaps," Mitch said "but you have to promise not to terrorise your brother and dad next time there watching a movie okay?"
"Okay!" Lee promised before going back into the house
"So, I'll see you tomorrow I guess?" Mitch asked
"Well that's a dumb question," Miko said "Of course, we work together after all."
"Yeah, yeah I know, so uhm...Today was pretty crazy huh?" Mitch said
"Yup, today was bonkers."
"Yup..." Mitch said "Alright well I guess I'll go now."
It was quiet for a minute, until then for some reason Miko wasn't sure about, she hugged Mitch once more this time not to comfort him, but for her own enjoyment
Mitch was confused by the sudden and abrupt show of affection, but he took it with a warm smile and chuckle
The girl quickly realized what she had done and quickly pulled herself off, her face now red "UHM- Okay see you later..." she blurted out nervously before slipping back into the house
"Alright Love, see you tomorrow." he waved not even thinking
Miko was still at the door leaning on it after she had went back inside
"Love." she thought face burning "That's a new one..."
Mitch only realized what he had said just after he gotten into his van, and boy was he embarrassed
"Wait, did I just call her love!?" Mitch facepalmed "You bloke!"
Nica had as well heard and seen the whole thing, due to watching the two from her open window
"Oh my gosh! OH MY GOSH, MY SISTER'S DATING SOMEONE!?" Nica thought frantically, she calmed herself "Okay, act cool, and just go ask about it." she walked out of her room
After the embarrassment of the situation Miko's demeanor quickly changed from fluster to giddy, and she was now trotting up the stairs with a smile, why? Once more she had no idea
When she got up there she was met with Nica
"Hey Miko." her sister said
"Hey Nica." Miko greeted
"So are you and Mitch dating?"
The girl's mood shattered, like broken window to house where the inside revealed utter horror
"WHAT?!" she shouted to her sister
"Are you two a thing or what?"
"NO!" Miko cried "I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT WOULD EVEN GIVE YOU THAT IDEA!"
